I give up

I give up. I've been trying since 5 am to blog. No net. Oh, wait, got net. Nope, fuck you, no net. I took a picture of my TV which was way more exciting than the sky. OMG..we're all doomed! Blow the siren for hours! Close the bridges! Let me crap my pants and start a stampede to the basement all because were having a STORM WITH FUNNEL ACTIVITY!!!
*
I hate this place. Anyway, I'm sorry, but, I give up. I'm going through the "tornado's" and sirens and rent some friggin' movies. Because the shit I'm seeing in the sky is about as scary as Young Frankenstein. I'll take my camera in case I see a REAL one. See ya 'marrow.

stock up on water and rations too!! :) That's what happens here when a bad storm is approaching (we rarely have tornado watches)---everyone rushes to da' store to get water, TP, smokes, cheetos, beer, etc....

it's 92 here (akron, ohio) and it's hhhhhooooooooottttttttt and humid too! bah....too hot to work in yard, too hot to work inside....

hope you didn't see a tornado!

she can't eBay! She got no net! Poor DD. You have more weather related issues! I am in Indy, it's about as bad. We are under Tornado Watches right now too. Sun is shining, blue skies but it's getting windy & it's HOT. Too hot for dogs to be outside even! Give the dogs lots of that water MissTia! I know you do!! We've been having tornadoes around here this week, killed a few people and destroyed lots of property. Not near us but down in southern Indiana. We gots a basement tho!!

I see dragons or maybe pterodactyls in those clouds. No tornados though.

PTERODACTYL WARNING!!!

i took Panacea out to hose her off and she did NOT like that! not one bit! but i soaked her good, and let her back in...then i brought her back out and did it again a few hours later! i can't figure out why she didn't like getting hosed---i had it on 'gentle' spray....she LOVES jumping in the lake at the dog park!! i might get her a kiddie pool for home...almost took her to the dog park but it would be way too hot to drive up there for her (it's like a 20 minute drive)....i don't want her to get too hot....

we're taking our walks real early too (like 8/8:30am) and then around 8pm....

i think some of the storms in Indy are headed our way---i hope, not the destruction part, but the cooling down part!

Too bad you couldn't move up to Montreal, Dishy. We have four proper seasons, and not too much of anything scary. Montrealers complain about the weather constantly, like anyone else, but I doubt that they realize how really lucky they are. Stay safe, DD, and take care of yourself.

never any 'tornados' here. Some 'windhosen' once in a decade - and always far, far away. Snow, but not too much. Rain, but ok. Sun, but not too much. Its perfect.

We got the tornados on Wednesday. Between the 2nd grade picnic ending around 3:00 PM, and returning to school at 3:30 PM, to pick up my daughter, after a short Starbucks break with the hubby, there were a massive amount of trees downed, and widespread power outages. I got to witness all the chaos from inside Starbucks. Montgomery County schools were closed on Thursday, as a result of the weather damage. The traffic sucked even bigger than usual.

capriciouscat=four proper seasons?

Southern California is down to a measly 328 days of sun annual.

DD, get your ass in the house, gas is damn near $5.00 a gallon, are you made of money?

LOL...no, but, this town is so small I coud walk from one end to the other in 20 min. Anyhow, all's well. No real damage.

I like that painting DD! Did you paint that? I'm glad your safe!

Dirty Disher said...

Nope, that is an original Alexander Ross SIGNED limited edition from the 60's. No, he's not that goof that painted "happy little trees". He was a famous illustrater of womens mag stories, and a good period artist. I know, hard to believe trailer trash like me owns that, but, I got it an an estate sale and they didn't know what it was.

Thanks..I'll get a kick ass one some day. I've seen three real ones, big huge monsters and I had no camera. I won't make that mistake again.
