Paul McCartney has announced that he will not be reuniting with former band mate Ringo Starr at an upcoming homecoming gig. It was all a rumor.

Oh, I'm so sad. I looked foreword to hearing Ringo pound out his 6th grade drumbeats again and sing "You're 16, you're pregnant and you're mine!" And what's Sir Paul planning? Something historical from the great archives of Wings? Fuck you. Call me anything you want, but, if you don't know who the real Beatle was, I feel for ya. The real Beatle is dead now, rest in peace. Oh, and the other dead guy didn't suck either until he went all Hari Krishna on our ass. The two bozo's left can kiss my ass until I turn tone deaf. Retire already.

You are a mean HORRID person! Great talent. Bitch!
Ringo has a new album out, you need to go buy it. But, don't come crying to me when you poke your eardrums out with a number 2 pencil.
Paul & Ringo were "cute". John was amazing, so very cool and my all time fav Beatle. George was cool too, he was my 2nd fav. I always think "Yea, the 2 Beatles that would get you some fame for killing them, John & George!!!" Both attacked, 1 murdered, the other one died a few years later from related injuries. I gotta go with DD on this. I love Ringo & Paul, but John was almost an immortal.
George was always my favourite, Krishna or not. John second. But even though a lot of people dismiss Paul and Ringo as cute or sweet or cuddly, as members of the Beatles, their talent absolutely cannot be denied. It was the magic of the four of them coming together that made them so very special. Apart, they were just never the same. To this day, I wonder what great music we never got to hear because they broke up. They had shaken off the trendiness of psychedelia, and had developed a very interesting maturity to their music by the end. Sigh...yet another unsolved mystery of life.
PS: Anon 7:54, George died of cancer, not from "related injuries".

they have said that the stabbing George received by the intruder affected his health and hastened the spread of his cancer.
I saw Ringo on a TV interview a few weeks ago, and I was surprised how laid back and funny he was. He's older now, didn't act the diva, told quite a few stories. It was actually a good watch.
