But Hancock rejects the traditional image of costumed superheroes as he responds to each one: “Homo. Homo in red. Norwegian homo.”

Do they not understand that it's a freekin' movie?? How are characters supposed to be portrayed if all we can watch is politically correct characters? Hey, homo's, you're upset over something that isn't even real. Hmm..I need to write a letter to the creators of Bewitched, Witches, Witches Of Eastwick, Single White Female and The Rachael Ray show. The Rachael Ray show has nothing to do with my life..she just irritates me.

GLADD getting upset over this, makes the rest of the gay community look bad. I went and seen Hancock and I thought it was awesome and I didn't get offended. I laughed my ass off at that part cause I would have said the same thing. Will Smith didn't write the script anyway so if they're getting their panties in a wad they are doing it over the wrong person.
GLAAD needs to get laid.
Why the FUCK else would I go to a superhero movie if not to hope and catch a glimpse of a hot guy wearing Spandex?

Real human rights are violated all over the world with people actually executed for being gay and lesbian and they want to spent a fortune bitching about trivial crap? These people need to get over themselves and undergo serious reality check - for starters movies NOT real.
misstia= you hit it right on the head. He was young & not well-known for his acting, he took a chance on that role and did a great job, all while being black.
