China has a terrible smog problem. Which was supposed to be corrected before the Olympics. Ok...so it's not fixed. And all the news shots look like shit. You can't see anything. It's terrible. How are athletes supposed to compete when their is no oxygen to breathe? There will be health issues and probably tourists dropping dead from it! There's something for us all to chew on!
I agree with above post. We in the world community keep cuddling the chinese and buying everything from them because of cheap labor. It's cheap because they are killing the environment and the people there. New bridges collapse, air quality is disastrous etc. If we don't check the Chinese Govt. soon, they will be entirely too powerful to stop later.
