Whatever - I have never been a Madonna fan (I made fun of her in the 80s, which was really easy for a punk) but there are a shiteload of people who love her. She's in the Elvis, Prince, Manilow realm now. Rain makes stages slippery. Meanwhile, the fans probably got a great show *and* got to watch her bite it. Good stories to tell. I'm kind of surprised that people still have any emotional reaction toward her. She's just a performer.

She falls onstage all the time-- always has. The best part is how she always plays it off as if it's part of the act.
