I don't care what she has to say..it's all about her looks. Her whole life is about her looks and it makes me exhausted. Last week she put on a light colored wig and pretended she dyed her hair. This week it's back to talking about her body again. This girl is nothing BUT a body. Her life is worthless. She could be a fitness guru or a nutritionist if she's so obsessed with her body..but, no..she actually thinks talking about how cute she is, is a career. I am tired of these people, can you tell? I have better things to do and I am working on it. You will be the first to know when I'm ready to move along to something more meaningful. It's going to happen, people like Kim and ParAss and the rest have taken up enough of my time.

yeah i went back to college after 16 years this semester...i will graduate in dec. with a BA in history....then i think i'll get my masters....

Yeah, you're right about KK. All she is famous for is a bad sex tape where she looks really uncomfortable (from the brief bits I've seen) and the rumor of the other parts. Her body really isn't that spectacular, either. I don't get why she thinks she is that hot, but mostly I ignore her, so I am no expert.
I'm all for the gardening posts. I'm trying to get my garden going. . .my raised beds need more filler, and so far my husband has not helped me out in that regard.
My new venture is :::drum roll::: chickens!!! We have six chicks in a brooder! (We live in the city, but I researched it, and there is quite a movement out there to have your own chickens in the city.) We have two 11 day-olds, and four 18 day-olds. We thought that in this economy, being able to provide our own eggs (and meat, if we had to) would be a good thing. Might benefit our neighbors, too, if they are down on their luck we can at least give them some protein, and we can use the manure in the compost heap. If I can remember how to do it, I will send some pics of the little girls (My peeps, as we call them).
I love chickens! I'd love to see pics of your chicks. I thought of getting some, mom wanted some real bad..but, maybe next year. I'm so busy right now getting the garden dug up. I'd have to build a chicken shed..naaa, not this year. God, they're cute though. Can't wait to see you pics!

There's an ancient song (1982) by REM about this forgotten art of gardening. I guess living in the south makes this pastime seem unpleasant and not worthwhile.
People (meaning my former neighbours) always hired landscaping companies to lay down layers of golf course grass on their lawn, and then "place" flowers and shrubs on top of it.
They never "appreciated" our "natural" grass, strange fern tree and tulips.
DD, I've not been here very long, but I do enjoy making a random comment now and then. But, truth be told, I'm more interested in your garden than most of the shallow dipshits mentioned here. I also live in the south, and have got a kick ass garden well on its way. All my 'mater plants have blooms, my strawberries are getting there, my herbs are flourishing AND my butterbeans and lettuce have just started sprouting! I'm a "old crony" but if I knew how to send you pics, I would! Please post pics of your garden now and then so we can watch it grow! As for the likes of Kim, Lindsey, Angelina, etc. who cares, right?
