I hope to hell this incredibly uncomfortable radio appearance by Billy Bob Thornton and his "band" was some kind of Joaquin Phoenix-ish hoax. Cause if it wasn't? He was a complete idiot. He is STILL acting, and his Godawful music wouldn't get any recognition if he wasn't already famous from acting.

I feel bad for his 2 bandmates that looked so uncomfortable. He probably treats them like shit also. I hope they beat the piss out of him in the parking lot. They have likely spent a good part of their lives hoping for an opportunity to have a career in the music industry to have this ass clown ruin things for them.

That poor dj...he handled it pretty well. The other band members were just as bad as BB tho..they just sat there..could of jumped into the conversation and said something..made them all look like total jerks.
Interesting. I've always heard he had major issues, but I've never really seen anything like this from him. On Letterman he once admitted he had a fear of antiques (I think I remember correctly) and would only eat orange foods, or maybe wouldn 't eat any orange foods, or something like that. He also married AJ, and I think she is truly crazy (hence her admission to a mental hospital when she was younger, her dad's plea for her to get help for her mental problems, etc.).
My family met Billy Bob in our hometown a few years ago when he was filming here. He could not have been kinder to everyone hoping to meet him. We drove past main street and saw everything set up for filming and decided to stop and see what was going on. He signed autographs for anyone who wanted one, but was called back to the set before he could finish, so he told the crowd that if they didn't get an autograph, but wanted one, they could wait until he finished this scene, and he would come back out and give them one. We went shopping, etc. and even though we had already gotten an autograph for our son, we came back later. Sure enough, he did come back out, signed autographs for anyone who wanted one, and posed for pictures. He posed for a picture with our son, and even posed with people's dogs. It just blew us away, how kind he was to us. Bruce Willis was on the set, but had people hold up cardboard, etc. in front of him so that no-one could take a picture, even from a distance, then had a suburban come to the middle of the set, and whisk him away so he wouldn't have to be seen walking to the edge of the small set. What a jerk. The female lead, whomever she was, wasn't much better.
I don't know what was going on with him, but that interview is bizarre. It does almost seem as if he took offense to the word hillbilly and used that as an excuse to be uncooperative. It's a shame as he can be a really nice guy.
Poor Jian having to put up with that tool. Sounded like Billy Bob got up on the wrong side of the bed.
I've always thought he was a really good actor. I wonder if there was something that happened that we didn't see or hear to explain his odd behavior. Truly bizarre.
Well now I can see he's only cast in roles where he plays himself.
I gotta say he seems much more like Angelina's type than Brad. I'm thinking Brad's got a lot less going on than his image suggests.
