Top Frog Miffed At Obama

French president Nicolas Sarkozy is talking shit about Barack Obama behind his back, calling the prez "unoriginal, unsubstantial and overrated" just days after making kissy-face with Barack during his first big overseas trip. Sarkozy is said to be especially bent out of shape over the rock-star reception Barack received in Europe, and has complainingly labeled the media "naive" for fawning over the new president. Sarkozy reportedly says that Barack's recent call to eliminate nuclear weapons was nothing but rhetoric and hot air, and points out the Bush administration was talking disarmament long before Barack came on the scene. The French leader is also at odds with Obama on certain wonky foreign policy matters including the debate over Turkish inclusion in the EU.

Yeah, well, French people smell and they surrender to the Germans all the time, and they like Jerry Lewis and their women don't shave their armpits. And they suck at rock music and they like mimes and their accents make them sound stuck-up and faggy. And they're rude and full of themselves. Did I miss anything? Let me consult The Book of Lame, Cliched Insults.

By the way, Sarkozy is probably right about Barack, but that doesn't mean he isn't a snippy, resentful little ass with a slut for a wife.

French President...'nuff said. What kind of credibility does this douche have, anyway? Not that I'm a big fan of the Junior Senator from Illinois, but taking heat from the FRENCH President?? Please! Go eat a snail and watch you wife's latest soft porn music video, Snarky Sarky!

Haha true true.

Of course, he's right. He may be everything she said and more, but he's still sharp as a tack and knows a fraud when he meets one.

Holy crap. For once I don't think a French person is an asshole. This guy is spot on. I bet he still smells like cheese though.

Yeah! Obama sucks! How unoriginal can you get? Obama is the most unsubstantiated person ever! Who's with me? Let's say it but not qualify it in any way and then get pissed when someone asks us to explain our point of view. We can use that old kernel "drink the kool-aid" because it so shuts every one up and shows 'em where we stand!

And French rock music *does* really suck.

Our President, the delightful Mr. Obama, is just about the least experienced leader we've ever had. He reads a nice teleprompter, though! He has definitely tapped into the psyche of the disaffected in this country. Of course, after GW, the Dems could have run damn near anybody and won! Perhaps he is just what we need, or perhaps he will make it all worse...no one knows! I just don't like it when someone like Msr. Sarkozy knocks him.

Talk about cliche... "their women don't shave their armpits, they smell, they suck at rock music, they bow to the Germans, etc.. etc..." Tell me, Dirty Disher, have you EVER been in France? Why do Americans always hate French so much? And, NO, I am not French. It just seems that people with limited knowledge always fall back on stereotypes. Please, I thought you were better than that. Obviously not.

1:29 Disher didn't even post this, for someone who's so high above everyone else you'd think you'd have figured out by now who posts what.

Let me help you, god knows your lost.

On the main page when you see a title of a post, like this one for instance, "top frog miffed at obama" as you read through it you come to the last line and stay with me here, cause it gets tricky for some of you i know. At the end of what they typed, is a pale blue grey stripe and in that blue grey highlight stripe it reads in this order

Posted by (in this case Crabbie) others will read "posted by DirtyDisher. Then it says "at (insert time) in this case "at 7:25pm".

Then there is a little speech bubble, very faint and hard to see if you can't distinguish the blue grey highlightline that states who posted it, but followed after that speech bubble is a number, thats the number of replies, you know, peoples opinions, thats tricky too because it chances every time someone adds a new one.

I know I know it's all terribly overwhelming for dumbasses like yourself.

Dumbass. I'm guessing thats not politically correct but if the corrective shoe fits.

I have been to France. Been there twice. I went the second time because I hated it so bad the frist time I thought out of fairness I should give it another chance. Know what...I hate France and the french people are fuckers. The only people more arrogant than American's are the French. Although I don't know if they shave their pits or bow to the German's they do smell.

hey 2:00, simmer down, seriously. life's too short.

Il n'est pas en colere contre Obama, c'est juste leur facon de parler.

I don't expect much from Crabbie. He's not sophisticated or cultured, judging from his xenophobic posts.

I like to visit the Maginot line, it's like the great wall of china; but useless. The people in Normandy love Americans because they live next to the reminders of German opression, and the cemetery filled with amazingly courageous young men that crossed an ocean for the second time to liberate Europe.

The former colonial powers of Europe are eating sour grapes because they have not been a relevant world power since the 1800's.

The only way they can stay au curant is by raising a stink at the UN or throwing accusations at the US from behind that corrupt bureaucracy.

This twat should worry less about Obama being "unoriginal, unsubstantial and overrated" and worry more about looking like Michael Lohan's retarded French cousin.
Perhaps he should announce his intention to have a charity boxing match with the French version of K-Fed. That might distract the world from his douchebaggery for a while.

He's right. I bet he's not the only one of the G20 to think that. The others aren't speaking up.

2:00:00 AM, you are TOO funny. I love your instructions. I may use them again in a main post.

Sarkozy also loved liking Bush's balls so...

Eric, you seem funny and smart, but saying Obama is "...the least experienced leader we've ever had." is so vague and general that it means nothing.

I'm surprised Sarkozy would say those things about Obama. It seems like a faux pas (see? I used French right there!).

One thing I've noticed about Obama is that he doesn't get into public, personal grudge matches as President. People jumped down his throat when he said he was "monitoring" the Somalian pirate hijacking, not even realizing for a minute that that meant he was actually monitoring the situation! We're just not used to that: A President who actually does more than pay lip service. It's been a loooooong time.

After the mission was completed, did he land on an aircraft carrier in a codpiece and declare "Mission Accomplished!"? Nah, he just went back to work. Finally, a grown-up in the White House. It feels odd.

Sarkozy is snarky and belongs on "The Hills" if he said that stuff. Be an adult, sheesh.

Anon 2:49...thanks, I think. President Obama held his post in the US Senate for a very short period of time. Prior to that, he was an organizer in the projects and streets of Chicago. He taught some law courses, yes, but was not tenured. He has never before held an executive position of any kind. He was never involved in world or national policy or decision making. He has never been a governor, nor did he head any influential post within the Senate. I do not hate the man, I am merely concerned that he will be completely at the mercy of his handlers and advisors, given the paucity of his experience. His speeches are wonderful and uplifting, and he appeals to a segment of our society that will adore him NO MATTER WHAT. At my age, I question anyone who blindly follows a leader simply due to their dissatisfaction with his predecessor. That's all I'm sayin'...that, and Sarkozy should shut the hell up...that's all.

My dog Lu Lu would've made a better president than Bush but that doesn't mean that she should be in office. Talk about lack of experience...that and she's a total bitch.

I think Obama did enough time, in the Senate and the "real world", (read: not growing up mediocre at best with silver-spoon in mouth and having been given everything because of who his family was, etc.) to have a firm grasp on how things work. He's lived among us.

He aptly identifies the main problems at hand and works tirelessly to solve them. He's aware of the huge egos he has to deal with at home and abroad and he doesn't take the constantly-flowing, childish baiting and engage in snarkfests. He doesn't waste all our time pandering to bigots who think all citizens should either fit their mold or be denied basic civil rights and demonized.

He seems to have a level-headed perspective that someone in his position *should* have. That and he seems like a very smart person. I agree that it feels odd to have an actual adult in charge.

Oh well, if he doesn't work out, Lu Lu will be available in 2012. She's an Independent.

We have presidential primaries so that people may decide btwn a number of individuals as to who they'd like to run for president, so I doubt most people voted for Obama just because they didn't like Bush... that doesn't even make sense. There are many things that make a person a successful or unsuccessful president, experience being only one of those. Some of our most inexperienced presidents have been great and vice versa. I'm all about holding people accountable, but the election is over... so unless you really have something of merit to hold against him, the vague dislike is getting old and annoying. He's no saint, but don't blame that portrayal on his supporters, blame it on the media. Each party will always have voters that blindly follow the leader and those that are educated on their leaders' policies and follow for those reasons - you cannot simply say that all Obama supporters are sheep or all Bush supporters were sheep. To generalize in such a way just sounds ridiculous and makes a mockery of democracy. Lastly, I believe Sarkozy is just jealous that he and Carla aren't the only hot political couple anymore lol.
