TLC is such a bunch of freak show fuckers, the mic guy probably hit cara to start her crying...The Gosselin mother bitch was just making fun of her to show the cameras how versatile she is.
Fame whore Kate, wants to have a mom based talk show....The only mother's who'd listen to the media whore are probably already behind bars. I wish someone would send her there and save all the trouble of the show.

9 is definitely too old to be having a meltdown like this. My 7 year old would never throw a tantrum like that and hasn't since she was about 4. If she even starts I just give her the look and she pulls herself together and we calmly talk about the problem. She knows a tantrum at her age is unacceptable. The poor Gosselin kids don't have anyone to teach them how to behave because they are being raised by two giant children.
I'm in my late 20's and I think if I had cameras around me all the time,nobody to calmly vent to, or sense of security I'd also have meltdowns.
I always want to give that woman the benefit of the doubt and think maybe they caught her at a bad moment, but she is pretty outspoken as to tell TLC or whoever to stop portraying her in a negative light. So to me that just means she sees the way she comes across and finds no faults in herself. I think we all have moments when we act less than great, but most of us stop, regroup, and make changes. Kate just sees nothing wrong in her behaviour as a mother, wife, or individual and that is really sad. Poor kids.

I'm sure some psychologist could put it in better words, but I see a mother TOTALLY pulling away from and rejecting her crying daughter. The daughter's pose SCREAMS "hold me, Mom!" but Kate can't do it. She can't let go of her persona long enough to comfort her kid. Even if the kid is a bit old for such behavior, that is a clue for the parents to find out the WHY of the situation. I have five sisters, and all of you who think tantrums are OVER before 7 are delusional. Kids throw tantrums for a number of reasons, and one of the biggies is attention. These kids miss having parents!

Remeber the vacation episode where Kate took the girls to have their hair corn-rowed and beaded? Every one of them cried their eyes out because it hurt. Kate didn't put a stop to it...just kept lining em up one by one to get it done becasue SHE wanted it FOR them. That was a defining moment in that show. It showed what a true shrew this woman is and it was the LAST time I ever watched the show.
Those kids are no more than marketable props for Kate to USE and then hand over to a stranger for raising.
Most people treat their pets with more respect and regard than this woman treats her kids.
She's seeking a career well away from them. She's about used them up, so she'll move on to bigger and better things now. Kids! What kids?

The "candid" pictures are very different fro,m the ones TLC has posted. It's like they're reading GWOP and others and responding quickly. The picks show a happy family, and Kate sitting next to the boys and holding their hands. Yeah right....
