Ya know Kate reminds me of my sister. She's very pretty, not drop dead but classic beauty. She's a Tori Amos/Gina Davis hybrid with blond hair. She's pretty till she opens her mouth. She was trying to get laid after her divorce and was living with me for a few months.She actually said "Don't they know I've got it going on?" She like Kate, puts herself before her child. She just found out her daughter is blind in one eye, and partially in the other. she's 5 years old! I suspect it's from my sisters pot addiction. I know she smoked weed everyday while pregnant. Optic nerve deformity is commonly caused by drug use during pregnancy. I do love my niece but she's far behind in her social skills, verbal skills, still wets, and openly masturbates. She lives far away, and after being used by her several times, I cut ties. I couldn't stand her pot induced stupid mode ALL DAY LONG. She thinks its okay because its a natural plant. They're tree hugging environmentalists. Just a bullshit excuse to be high all day, everyday. Just like the show for Kate. Stopping the show is not an option. Guess what? IT'S NOT OKAY DUMBASS!
This is how I always have seen her. Obvious to a blind man who still has the sense of hearing.

I just wanted to say, My son has Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. It was NOT caused by any drugs or wrong doing on my part. It is a gliche in development around the 4th- 6th week of gestation. It is very sad that your sister has neglected this child's medical condition for so long. Alot of people with ONH have or end up having endocrine issues that can mess everything up from growth to mental development and should be seen by an endocrinologist at least once a year as these issues can arise at anytime. I understand your frustration but I very seriously doubt your sisters pot smoking had anything to do with her childs condition
Call me weird but when I see that sprout of hair sticking up in the back I think of a hairy tiara.
Kate can't wear a crown. Too obvious. The hairy tiara is more subtle.
Interseting reading. I'm so sorry about the kids with eye problems. My son had eye problems and so does his daughter. It's so hard to figure out what exactly they're seeing when they're so little. They can't explain it. It's frustrating and I find myself looking through Alissa's glasses a lot, trying to see what she sees or doesn't see. She was declared legally blind once and I said bullshit. I knew she wasn't. It's so hard, isn't it? You feel so bad for them.
Diggin' the Prof and his take. I think he clearly stated what a lot of people think...Jon and Kate are frauds and they are NOT going to stop on their own. Can't really blame them, as they have no other sources of income. I just feel so sad for the kids...they will ultimately pay the price for their parent's greed. I hope someone sets up trust funds for them before all the money is gone.

Mutant Lymphocytes or Undeveloped Nerves? A developmental Apples and Oranges in my book. The point is, I really don't think any drug use is risk free. And yeah Steph, there are things beyond your control that happen, what kind of person takes that risk with an unborn child? Pregnancy is scary, and I would have liked to have escaped it every now and then too. It wasn't occasional pot use; it was and is wake and bake, all day everyday. I have a really hard time believing this has nothing to do with her kids' problems. My sister does what she wants when she wants and feels nothing for the people around or inside of her.

Shelly, I agree with you. I can't stand people who smoke or drink or drug while pregnant. They can make all the excuses they want, it's sickening.
Love the picture. I hope someday we get an answer why Katie needs a body guard and who pays his salary when she does the book signings. I pity those children with Jon and Katie for parents. Show or no show they are screwed.
