Lunar Water

Have you ever made Moon water? You take a glass bottle or jar (anything will do as long as it's glass and has a stopper or lid) and you set it out in the open on a night of the full Moon. This is one way to "draw down the Moon." I clean the bottle first, then rinse it in salt water. Salt removes negativity. Then I fill the bottle with distilled water and put the stopper in. You can use Moon water for a lot of things, but, it's nice to make tea out of. It's used for energy.

I take the Moon water inside just before the Sun comes out.

How does this work? I noticed the moon phases you are posting. It's very cool looking. I will keep checking that.

I live by Moon phases so it's handy to have that on here since this is the first place I go every day.

Hey DD, so what happens when the moon is full and in your sign. I could really use a change of luck about now.
I always keep track of the moon phases. I've tried to explain to my children about waxing and waning but I don't think they get it yet.

I didn't even notice that there was a full moon last night...makes perfect sense now the husband couldn't sleep. He's pretty sensitive to full moon cycles. I told him that for years and he finally starting listening to me.

sure NaCl removes negativity. And 'lunar water' stows energy. That rock reflecting the sun light is so magical...

seriously and you think your mom has a mental problem?

if you tell your husband year after year after year that he is 'sensitive' to some made up crap he will be at some point. Psychology. Nothing else.

Seriously people, slept in school? But you realize that the moon is always the same, right? Or do you believe that the magical moon goat eats some of the mystic moon cheese and then shits it out again?

And Santa brings presents and the Christmas tree has a Christian origin. Sure, anon, thanks for the schooling.

Oh, Anon, you're right! Of course, the moon that is powerful enough to control the tides can't possibly have an effect on anything else. What on earth was I thinking? Apparently I wasn't.

And I clearly see now how my thinking that planetary energy is as fictional as Santa Claus.

Thank you so much for setting me straight!!!

I'm going to start right away on my path to being a closed mind, unthinking idiot so I can be just like you.

2:22:00 ..lol. Thank you. Seems you can't even do anything fun that's harmless around here sometimes.

I'm a Cancer and never track the moon phases, only signs if I need to. Exception is planting stuff where it makes a huge difference in how fast things grow. It's funny to see things planted in water signs outgrow the others in a few days!

I love this moon water and have never heard of it. But water absorbs energy- ever notice that a bath can change your energy level 180 degrees either way?. So can't wait to do it. I'll try it with moon signs.
Thanks Pat!

water does not 'absorbs energy' except in the purely physical sense. Aka you can heat it up.

You feel better after a bath because you are relaxed. The water carries some of your weight, muscles relax, that is all about it. Nothing mystical going on.

The moon affects a lot of things! As any ER worker if nights with a full moon are different that other nights. Also, the ladies can back me up here, it's much more common for women who aren't on birth control to get their periods on or around the full moon. When I went off the pill my cycle re-adjusted to the moon cycle in a few months and has pretty much stayed there for the last 14 years.

You may not agree with all the mystical stuff surrounding a full moon, but don't disregard all of it entirely. I am a huge science geek but I like to leave myself open for unquantifiable possibilities. Except religion. I'll never be on-board with that hooey.

The Moon is a womans symbol, because of the tides. The Sun is male. So I always thought it was weird that people talk about the man in the moon. It's a chick!

The comments from the people who can't feel finer energy reminded me of when I would have written the same kind of thing, but....live and learn!

No I had never heard of this, but I do remember my mom putting jars outside and bringing them in the next day, so maybe she did and just didn't explain why.

A very cool concept though, I bet you your tea is extra good this way.

PS love the bottle too

My cycle follows the full moon too anon. I think I liked Depo better though..lol

I just can't understand why people come here to read if they find your posts crap? I can only shake my head and wonder...

Karla, it's because they want to feel superior to someone and since no one can truly prove finer energies exist, it's easy, simpleton behaviour to sneer at them. I"m a little ashamed to say that I used to be a little like that. Then I started "waking up" and now I've finally accepted that just because I haven't experienced something doesn't mean others haven't so I've stopped judging.... whadda relief!
