If Gilda Radner was still alive..

Jane: And now, here's Emily Litella with our weekly commentary..
*
Emily: "I hear Jon Gosselin is seeking spiritual council from a rabbit. A rabbit! I get the connection, but, just because Jon Gosselin can breed like a rabbit doesn't mean he should take advice from a rabbit. It's not right! (Bangs fist on desk.) Jon Gosselin needs advice on how to stop the exploitation of his 8 kids! Jon can never find out what he needs to know from a rabbit and I don't care how smart the rabbit is!"
*
Jane: "RABBI. He's getting advice from a RABBI."
*
Emily: "Ohhhhhhhh. Never mind. "

Hysterical, Gilda was a always a favorite in my family growing up, your commentary brought back funny memories of me and my deceased mother doing a skit of her back when video cameras first came out, Mom was Jane I was Gilda.

Todd & Lisa! That stuff is always funny. Gilda died appropriately on a Saturday. Steve Martin hosted SNL that night & I still remember how tough that was for him to get thru. If you want to read something good, read Gildas autobiography. She wrote it while she was sick. Its excellent. I loaned mine to a former friend. She never read it & I never saw it again. Grrr!
Thanks for the memories Pat! Gilda was the best.

Land shark! I loved that one. I don't think they should have gone on after the original cast was gone. It just wasn't the same. Why did things seem funnier then. Like Monty Python or even Laugh In! I can think of a couple of reasons, but the skits were truly funnier.

My Chevy Chase and you're not!
Jane you ignorant slut!

And, yes, I always thought Jon G. looked Jewish!
How does that go,,,BWAHAHA!!!
