Lissa looks dazed and delirious with excitement as she stands, literally, knee deep in presents. She was flushed and yelling "This is SO fun!" We all opened presents in my kitchen where it's warm, the weather was severe last night. The bath and bed time basket turned out to be a big hit. It had bath products, (tried and tested ones) lip glosses, and kiddie toothpaste and a new pink toothbrush, as well as jammies, fuzzy pup slippers, bathrobe, cuddly dog and a bedtime story in it. She really liked it. Lissa was sweet and greedy and funny, we all laughed as we watched her tear into the pile.....and when we told her there would be MORE in the morning, well, geeez, man..she thinks Santa is the coolest dude in the Universe.I'm glad they made it to town last night, because we are snowed in again this morning. Actually had about 3 inches INSIDE by the door. The wind was wicked. I plugged the door with an old wool scarf and made some hot chocolate about 4 am. BeeBee got some too, oh, and she got a fruitcake for Christmas, which she loves. We are snug as bugs now.

It was one of the nicest Christmas eves I've ever had. And in a couple of days, Casey and Dan will get here and it will be even nicer. A real white Christmas!

That first pic is so cute, she was just..in a daze from it all. LOL. We had to hug her and say, just breathe.
