Kid & dog are still sleeping (it's noon). Made my sticky buns, ate my share. (bet mine are better than Ms. Gosselins). Pot of fresh sauce is cooking. We eat Italian for dinner on Christmas. Wind is blowing big time and it's raining.

So happy they made it to your home safely and little Lissa has that excitement Santa brings. It's raining here and well that sucks, BUT my Sons are here so I am happy.
Merry, merry, happy happy! I had sushi yesterday, I love it. Today I'm making lentil soup and homemade black bean bread. Warm and quiet here, and snowing with lights. And I know everyone I love is safe and warm. You can't ask for anything better. I wish you all the same.

I'm working on my stew today, and have the sugar cookie dough ready to be rolled. Will eat the frosted cookies with some spiced hot cocoa later! I'm off to make frosting now on my awesome kitchen aid!
Merry, Merry Christmas, Pat, and everyone else!! It's pretty chilly for here. Probably about 35, and that's not much lower than the high today. Little windy, too, but no snow or rain at all. No cooking at my house today, my MIL fixed us a wonderful lunch, and then we went over to my mom's and had a great ham dinner with what she called "make-do" gravy. Browned bacon, onions in a flour base with lots of mushrooms, etc. Very yummy. The best part was that my ex-sister-in-law dropped in when she brought the youngest (19) over, and I had the chance to tell her I missed her and that she will always be family to me. Yep. It's been a good day.

Hope you didn't get the storm too bad! We have RAIN! horrible cold rain at 35 degrees and the wind is blowing and it's just YUCK!

I have 3 Kithen Aids from the old days..2 of them still work! I have like, the first ones made. I like the looks of old industrial art pieces.
