I saw no indication of pain. She might have had the spinal thing, but, I didn't see that or the tubing either. Her makeup was intact and her hair looked perfect. It was so bizarre.
LOL I've never watched her, but Chelsea is pretty funny! I think the Kardashian girl probably had an epidural. It's not really likely that she was this together and able to react as she did if she was experiencing the full discomforts of labor. On the other hand, there are a lot of women who deliver their babies at home. There is a religious community in my town, who practice this, unless there is extreme need. Sometimes they even pursue it when things don't go well. (They have been in the news a lot lately.) I've seen many deliveries, and she seemed to have a detachment from the process. It is nice that she wanted to reach down and grab her baby. Very sweet. Oh, and occasionally there is someone who goes through labor and delivery with full make-up on and hair done. I would guess more so when there is a film crew in attendance. Jarhead---your comment brought to mind that the Sinos do expect women to deliver as she did. Absolute silence so as not to traumatize the baby. I remember seeing the pictures (TMZ or somewhere) of people entering the Cruise compound with large cue cards saying things like "silence", and so on. It is sad the constraints that are sometimes put on women delivering babies. I always encourage women to do what they really want to do, as long as it is not hurting them or the baby.

That's how all Scientologists are born.
Jarhead
Are they Scientologists?
What do you expect when your birth canal can dilate to 16" thanks to all those crazy gang bangs?

Huh did miss something here ? Khloe is
a sino ? Really ? Is it true ? Idk ? : / Kiki
I don't want to pass bad scoop. I don't think they are Scientologists, I was making a comment on the silence in the room.
Jarhead
I didn't think she was, but the info about silence during birth is true.
Epidural or not, her 'calm' was somewhat strange and spooky, especially for a 1st time mom.
