Ghost with a sense of humor

Most of you know, I work in a bookstore. Well, it has decorator items and fancy baby clothes too, but, her real business is books. There are thousands of books and the owner is fastidious about stacking them on shelves in alphabetical by author order. She knows exactly what she's got when someone asks. Anyway, it was slow today so she had to run to the pharmacy and I watched the shop. On her way out the door, she said "Watch out for flying books." I was like, wtf? Then I got it. Oh, is our invisible friend acting up again? Yep.
*
So I waited on one customer and sat down to read and suddenly books are falling off shelves. No big deal, maybe a customer put them back wrong? I put them back and across the room more books are falling. I just shook my head and went over and put them back. I'm not sure I put them back in order, it's a real pain in the ass. This game went on for quite awhile with me running from one side of the long old building to the other. Then something was banging on the glass door really loud, so I went up to look and no one was there. Hmm. I turned to go back to my chair and one book literally flew across the room. It flew about 8 feet! I picked it up and it was that one..Fear Of Flying. It made me laugh.

My friend said it's been happening all week. Even in front of customers. But, she doesn't have Fear Of Flying. At least not on the shelves. She said no one here would read Erica Jong..but me. That's so comforting..not. Maybe the ghost was being nice to me? Or maybe it just thinks it's funny.

DD...I'm so glad you hve such an interesting place to work. Do you know anything about the ghost? Did he come with the building? Do tell!!!
Sounds like you may be feeling a little better. I sure hope so. What is the current news on Lis' brother. Did she pick a name?
Take care of yourself my friend!

Hoping everyone has a happy spring!
Let the sunshine fill you with warmth and love! If only I could get rid of this allergy (these allergies) I have, I would be happy!!!

DD...How exciting! I, too, am curious to know more about the book-throwing entity.

Bayou Jane....I know how you feel about the allergies. I love springtime, but the pollen is driving me nuts.

Read Jong's, Fear of Flying, a long, long time ago, but I remember the gist of it. What type of hints do you think the ghost was trying to give you? LOL

I dunno, it doesn't really talk to me like most of them do. It's just there. And I feel like there's a man and a woman so it's hard to tell which one's about.

I wish I had you standing next to me when the weirdness happens here, Pat. I'm a big ol' fraidy cat, wienie when it comes to stuff like this, and I don't know why.
It would be interesting to hear what you had to say.
I wonder what response those ghosts want from you? Maybe they are aware that you are a little bit "different" and can see many of them?

Christina, I don't see them all the time. I hear them. Sometimes it's a real audio like a person. Sometimes I get pictures in my head from them. Last week, I got one who only spoke Spanish and I had to get a translator. When we got it figured out, it all made sense though.

And if they scare you, just think of it like this..most ghosts are just people. Ordinary people. I have met very little that's evil. Can't say they don't startle me sometimes though.

I take Valiums all day long. I am not afraid of flying either! My ears can't live w/o them. It's an Rx I need. I should read this. I have only read it in exerpts.
