I love this pic. Niki is showing his alpha dog side and Rocco is showing how patient a pit can be. I get so mad when they are shown in a bad light. The owners are the one's that should be put down. Our Puppy (aka Reef) is 81 lbs. of pure love and drool. And he is willing to give you both whenever you need it! And he's a great bed partner on cold nights.
with3love...Rocco is Casey's dog. Casey is Pat's daughter. She's also very cute, an animal lover and a very nice person---pretty much a reflection of her mom!
Pat...was it really 82 degrees or was that an April Fool's joke?
Sweet doggies playing nicely. What a nice post. There was no big excitement here. Out of nine chickens we did get seven eggs, but one was cracked. The slow learner laid another one from the roost onto the coop floor. Oh, well. It didn't rain today, so the mud in the front yard is less sticky, which means the dogs were not grubby. That makes it a great day in my book.
Awww, they're so cute! How old is Rocco? My new little guy, (I got him Sat. wk. ago) Solomon, has had an ear infection these past 4-6 days, probably due to stress adjusting to a new home. I thought it mite be ear mites, but no. The lady who owns the rescue group brought me meds today to put in his ears, and he has slept all afternoon since I put them in. I think they are already working. He must not have been getting good sleep w/his infection. They are so stoic, aren't they? When he was found hit by a car, the vet fixed his broken leg. 8 days later when the rescue org. got him and took him to their vet, he also had a hip that had popped out of socket. Too late to pop it back in, so they had to replace it. He has been through it for just a little over a yr. old guy. He's a sweetie. He doesn't leave my side.
Awww great pictures DD. I love them. Reminds me of Ava last night with the 2 boxers. 10 times bigger than her and she wasn't even scared of them. She gave them hugs and played with them. I should of took pics. :(
lol...I have more fun watching the cat and dog play than anyone should. They are funny as hell to watch.
Yesterday it really was in the 80's here and today too.
I had the best day yesterday...not that you asked, but I'm telling anyway. Lunch with dear friends, a surprise child support payment (the youngest is almost 20 and he owes me $34k) and I found out I have today off!
I'm going to get my garden plot ready today. I'm trying my hand out at some veggies. We eat a lot of veggies and it's way too expensive!!

Rocco is very handsome, he looks like Angus' kind of dog buddy, I bet they'd play well.

I went to see Paul McCartney at the Hollywood Bowl last night. I'd like to take HIM home and make him stay up all night!

Army Mom, you'll have to let us know how your garden does. Man, last year I had so much free fresh food!
Dogs playing is one of the best things ever.
Is Rocco a pit? He sure is a beauty, gorgeous coat.
