Velvet

Kiki's dog Velvet. This is the dog she was talking about in comments and I cracked up. This is his trainer, who quit after Velvet bit him. (Typical weim behavior.) Kiki says next time she's calling the dog whisperer. Let me tell you, that is the only hope you have because wiemaranier's are smarter than a lot of people. You think your dog is smart? Right? So do I, but, I guarun-damn-tee you, he is NOT a weim. Weims have this odd brain power that is almost supernatural. It will stupify you and makes them hard to live with. But, Velvet is only 17 months old, so he has a long way to go. It takes a hell of a strong owner to deal with these dogs, but, they are amazing and in a class all thier own. Good luck, Kiki.

Thanks DD :) he could be admitted into Mensa.
If there was such a thing for dogs. He's a rascal
but such a nice soft velvety coat he has. It has
saved him from my sons wrath many a time.
He loves to tear up & shred paper especially
university home work assignments ! He can
turn door knobs he's fun to live with I tell ya !
He thinks he's a human just like all of us. Kiki :)

Ha. kiki! I had no idea you had a Weimaraner. An old German that lived near me had two that were excellent game dogs. He knew how to maintain working dogs that lived at home. He exercised them every day.

A classmate of mine also had one that all he did was bite visitors!. Do you take him on your runs?- put him on a treadmill for a while before you feed him in the morning. They do have a nice coat. Very pretty dog kiki.

Enrique :) there's a lot about me you don't know.
Yes I run with him every morning. He's an
excellent dog a really smart breed. The
keeper of the koi pond is my Velvet :)
He is quite elegant and yet fiercely protective of
me. He's only bitten once ( the ex trainer) never
any of us yet ?! LoL he is pretty enough that
I sometimes get jealous of him. J/K -Kiki :)

Kiki... that pretty baby can't be bad! You must be mistaking him for another dog. He looks so reagal sitting there and the trainer's not bad looking either.

Kiki >=) the queen bee ... said...

Jane he's not bad he's a handsome prince.
He just was jealous of the trainer being in the
house so he bit him and off he went. I think
Velvet didn't like him pointing at him cuz he bit
him on that very hand ! Oh boy would he love it
down there in the bayou chasing after pheasants
or whatever game birds you have down there Jane.
He's a real fun prince of a dog. I took over the
training and he's gotten in line to my OCD
militant technique or else he was about to find
out what or else meant ! >= ) He may be one
of the princes but Kiki is the Queen ! -Kiki >=)

It sounds delicious kiki. Green and black olives and anchovies on pizza especially. But ccc's ...mmmm.

Chocolate makes anything better. I always keep Nutella handy and spread it like hummus on everything that looks like desert.

Enrique
To this day I still enjoy nutella (moms Italian )
I grew up on nutella didn't know what pb& j
were till I was in high school ! If there was a
way to share some of it with you through
cyber space I would. How about cannolis ?
I remember u said you are partial to sweets.
- Kiki :)

Peg & Vicki thank you he's here at my feet
keeping them warm as I type. He's soft & sweet.
Ahhh he's looking up at me with his lovely face :)
I tell you DD you're right they sure are a smart
breed. In the Mensa league of canines. -Kiki :)

CJ-
It has a hold on me. I put it in the center of my muffin batter, bread, bananas, by itself, and now on peanut butter too.

Have you had candy called "Turkish Delight"?. They sell it in candy aisles at the grocery stores or online. Evil, evil candy.

kiki,

Canolis! man I picked them out of the desert cart during Titanic (the movie)- I was bored to death during the movie, but as soon as I saw the desert cart I saw those delicious looking canolis.

Baklava-is the other pastry I could eat daily and never tire. I eat sweet condensed milk from the jar sometimes. Ice cream, but not all flavors unless it's Ben and Jerry's.

Oh yeah.

Velvet is a beautiful dog, Kiki!

Jarhead ~ Don't think I've ever had Turkish Delight. Had to google it. Most of my sweets have to be Chocolate form, preferably Swiss but any other European country will do. Domestic chocolate here leaves a lot to be desired.
I do agree with you and Kiki about the cannolis and baklava. They are Sooooo good. Ok, now I'm hungry for something sweet. Still have a stash of Swiss chocolate in the fridge. I've been good today, need to reward myself!

Kiki...how big will Velvet get? I don't know if I could handle a dog smarter than I am. I would always be wondering what he is thinking. I guess if animals took over the world, they (weims) would be in the ruling class. All the people who have been nice to animals will be fine, but the idiots like Miss Tia's neighbor will have hell to pay. Good doggys!!!

Jarhead...I would not think you had a sweet tooth. Man, you just keep getting better all the time. A man with all your attributes but still one weekness! Baklava, canolis, and turkish delight---backed up with ccc! I love this site.

Now I have to admit---I just heard about Nutella in the past year. Also, I haven't tried it yet. I will be getting some tomorrow. I don't know what I've been missing! But I will find out!!! This may be the start of another bad habit!

Enrique I hope your sitting down because
I once made gelato laced with stripes of nutella
& chopped hazelnuts walnuts and honey striated
through it ! Omg I also make a coconut icecream
with chunks of pineapple in it with sweetened
condensed milk. It's a glucose overdose.
Toooooo sweet !!! Nutella is best eaten off of the spoon.
Or on a fresh warm French stick baguette. Kiki :)

thanks Alison he's a handsome I agree :) Kiki

Jane he around 74 poundms but he could
get to be about 90 if he didn't go out on
the early morning runs with me. Heck I'd
be too if stopped running with alll the food
in capable of making and better still at eating !
You wouldn't know it by looking at be but it's
no easy feat to keep trim and be able to eat
anything you want. That's why I run everyday.

I'd just like to add that in my experience, weims don't bite because they're mean. They bite because they want to be the boss. And if you hesitate at their aggression, even for a second, they will nail you. Bad. Then from that moment on, they rule the roost. I've seen it. I lived with a weim for years, he never bit me. He nailed his owner many times. Drew blood. Called all the shots. He was the boss of this guy. I thought it was pathetic. The guy was a lawyer, I suggested he sue his own dog. The dog would have acted as his own council and won the case.

CSS thank u he is a beauty ! Kiki :)

Enrique the homemade gelato is delicous !
I agree the nutella on a spoon Is addictive.
Our teacher friend in the bayou will soon find
out after she does her marketing today.

Do you know that the golden foil wrapped
choclates known as Ferrero Rocher are filled
with nutella and a whole haZelnut inside.
Have you ever had these enrique? The are
rampantly available all year round in canada.
Do you know that FR candy company in Italy
makes nutella and these choclates as well as
the olde classic Baci (kisses) in the dark blue box.
I hope you have them down there in Texas
btw they also make a coconut truffle ball and a
dark rocher noir too. Their most famous product
will surprise you it's a tiny lil candy mint in a
clear lil box with a flip lid. Known the world over
and comes in a multitude of flavours. It's available
everywhere on earth practically all the four corners
have heard of Tic Tacs. The name of that tiny lil
candy is accepted in every language the world
speaks. It's what put the FR candy company
at the top of the candy makers around the world.

Oh tonight our Toronto Blue Jays are hosting
your Texas Rangers at the Rogers Centre in a
base ball game. Tickets are only $ 14 each. So
for a family night out it's very affordable. They are
calling for the dome to be open tonight as the
the rain is gone and the temps will be in the high 70s.
I may go unless my son wants my tix to the game
and hang out with his friends in our skybox. - Kiki :)

awww one of my friends nichole has a weimaraner named Brucie. Oh they are so protective and sweet at the same time. Plus a great game hunter dog.

Velvet looks very intelligent and very intuned with life kiki. Great photo. Reminds me of that photographer who uses weimaraners in their photos.

Ferrero Rocher chocolates are delicious. My brother's favorite chocolate.

Mozartkugeln are marzipan, pistachio and chocolate. That was my candy of choice in Austria. Plus I lived next to a strawberry farm!-Erdbeerland was the name of the place.

Texas Rangers, pfft!- I hope your Blue Jays give them a good beating. Cocaine in the locker room, bad behavior outside the dugouts; bunch o' bums. They talk a big game, but don't bring any of it.

Their alligator mouth overloads their hummingbird ass, as the old cowboys say.

DD exactly! Velvet knows who is the boss.
He's never bitten us. He knows I'm the boss
he's that intelligent to know not to get on the
wrong side of me. When we come back from
our runs he waits until I wipe his paws off with
a towel before he steps onto the foyer or else !
He has not yet had to find out what or else
means. The most assertive two lil words I use
with him " or else " simply enough they get the point
across like a lightening rod thrown by Zeus.

& speaking of the greek gods of mythology ...

Enrique those FR chocolates have some very
fancy tv ads depicting their product as food
of the gods that mistakenly fell to earth when a
nymph let it slip out if her hand. If you read the
classics you would really appreciate their tv spots.
They are almost like lil vingettes of a Greek
tragedy. I hope you have seen & tasted a FR.
You would love them I promise you ! - Kiki :)

Hi avas mommy thank you I will tell him.
He is taking a nap after our long run in the
fog this morning wore him out. It's been a while
since i've seen you on here. How are you ?
Hope all is well with you guys and the baby.
Glad to see you back on & posting. Kiki :)

Enrique that must be why the tix were cut to
half price @ $14 each it's quite affordable for a
family of four to come out and see the blue jays
peck away at them on the field tonight lol. Kiki :-))
