Thank you, Jenny

A special shout out to Jenny. The same day my net blew out, I recieved a package from Jenny with two books inside about concrete construction. They have beautiful color photos of real art sculptures done by a variety of artists and detailed instructions on how to start. OMG, I poured over them and devoured them. Unfortunatly, with the storms and heat here, it was too sultry outside to breathe, but, as soon as the weather breaks, I'm ready to start on my own. It was one of the coolest presents anyone has ever sent me (and my readers send the best presents!) thank you so much, Jen. Thank you SO much.

I went garage sale/antiqueing last weekend with my sister and a friend (and it was too damn hot). What did I see in one of the little shops? A cement giant leaf imprint! I was already Jonesing (No pun intended!) from a lack of DD info and that made it worse! I wonder if that person is one of us. There was no one to ask. It was the kind of place where people rent little booths.

DD, there were names on your blog that I had not seen in a long time asking about you. You are so lucky to have so many friends. We were almost ready to take that next drastic step----snail mail!!!
Miss Tia was going to play postman.
And how are Liz, Niki, and BeeBee?

I know I'm lucky and I appreciate all of you. It was so boring without you all. Everyone is fine here and I'll post on it.

Did you find any good antiques?

I'm so glad you liked the books, Pat. I'm more glad that you are ok. I can't wait to see what you create!
Your friend for life,
Jenny

Could you share what the name of the books are?

I am going to be going to the used book store tomorrow and I want to find some also. I think this is something I would love to do.
