Cute overload!

Alex and his buddy, Owen. Alex is 21 months old and he loves Thomas the Tank Engine. Well, who doesn't? Alex is so cute, he looks like he has a great sense of humor and I'll bet he's a funny little guy. Awww, hugs to him. Thanks to MuserMommyinPA for sharing.

Thanks for posting it Pat. Alex is such a great little guy. He is very happy and makes it a joy to be his mommy. After a lot of struggle and many disappointments, he came into our life when we had given up on having a child. His dad and I still are amazed he is here and we are his parents!

That's a sweet looking kitty, too. I have a real soft spot in my heart for orange kitties.

Alex and Owen are the best of friends. He can now even say Owen and when you ask Alex what Owen is, he says "cat". It's funny when Alex wants in the chair and Owen is there he says "move" to him. Owen is very gentle with him and they play together a little.

I still say the best sound in the world is Alex's laugh. So pure and innocent. Lucky for me he laughs often. I couldn't be prouder of him. He just started to walk on his own a week ago. He has always been behind on milestones, but 21 months was getting me worried. Turns out he is just like his father and does things on his own time. For awhile there I thought he might crawl to kindergarten!

LOL! I hear you about the doing things on their own time, MuserMommy! That is my son in a nutshell. Though he didn't wait until 21 months to walk independently, he did do a lot of starts and stops. I thought he was going to be behind on walking, but when I was ordering his one year birthday cake, out of the corner of my eye, I saw him stand up straight as a little stick and levitate across the room. I actually screamed, and then told the bakery person (on the phone) what had happened, and she screamed with me!
Andy said his first words at 13 months, but then quit until he was about 3. Everything has been on his own time.
Your son is adorable, and the average time to pass milestones is just that. Average. There is a lot to be said for waiting until you are ready to do something. Some people (like me) are slow learners and have to absorb that over time. Other people (like your and my sons) have it figured out from the start.
