Christina sent these, it's some of her eggs. Aren't they pretty? And there's George working out by the coop. That coop is smart..it has wheels! Thanks, Christina.
Gorgeous coop and eggs! At our local gift shop a chicken lady has taken pictures of her eggs and made them into notecards. They were selling so well that they are now on back order. Your eggs are nicer due to variation in colors.
Thanks for the kind comments on the eggs and tractor. My husband just made up his own plan for that. I'm hoping for more colored eggs and a few more dark ones when my little girls start laying. It should be any day now!
Thanks, DD. On the other side of the chainlink that you see behind my husband, is the cemetary, and the dark line in the background of that, is where the hillside drops away to the canyon. We are fortunate to have that backdrop, and to have the deer grazing through that area from time to time. It is absolutely beautiful in the spring with the rhododendrons pruned up as trees, and the occasional golden chain and cherry trees, as well. We have kept things simple along the fence on our side, with only the lilac, occasional rose, and the clematis, further up. We had a forsythia, but Harley got angry with me when he was a baby, and tore it out. With the canyon so close, we have a view through that area to the surrounding hills, and if the mausoleum wasn't where it currently is, we would have a full view of Mt. Hood.

I love it! I wish we could have chickens but we live in the city and my vegan daughter would be pissed.

Your place looks so nice. Sigh.
