Oh, me too DD. Poor kids out there with degrees that are worthless and sky high student loans that will haunt them for a lifetime cause there ain't no fucking jobs. I just recently learned that student loans aren't dischargeable in a bankruptcy.
Hi-freakin'-larious!!! I loved that, especially the part about crying over your master's!!! That is sad news about the student loans, escrow. I don't know what to tell my son about loans for school. I don't want to give him the wrong advice, and he really didn't try for scholarships. He just wasn't ready.
Nope they are not. You have to pay them or never be able to buy anything on credit. My student loan haunted me up to the point when we wanted to buy a house. My attorney was able to get all the fees and interest taken off (slick) and it was added to the closing on the house.

But if you are deliquent on your loans and when filing your taxes - kiss the your refund good bye.
If you are in deferment, you can still get your refund.
