Yoko Ono has a new show, eh, I guess I'm supposed to call it an exhibit. But, that always sounds like one thing to me..anyhow, it opened in Berlin and it's called Das Gift. She wants to understand the violence in the world today. Like the window with the bullet hole, you look from both sides and understand you can be the shooter or the victim in a heartbeat. Of course it reverberates of John and his senseless death. I found articles HERE and where she is interviewed in more detail HERE.I've always been a huge fan of Yoko's art (except when she sings), so this was a good way to start the day. It's funny that she fought so hard to be more than Mrs. Lennon and yet her life is still so much about him. But, it makes sense. Still..I think I like her better without John in her head. Well, I guess he's always there, but, you know what I mean.

John Lennon could never leave her head. As he hasn't ever left mine and I never even met the man. She was married to him. I cannot even fathom her depth of loss, still. He was 40 years old! He was no where near done living. He was an original & free thinker. She's awesome. A cool, cool lady. They made a great pair & couldnt help that they ended up together. It was what was supposed to happen.

I had to post the article link at my FB. I am all about JL. Thanks DD. xoxo
Damn!! I've been an artist for a long time and never knew it. I just thought I was clumsy! Now, if the money would just start rolling in, I'd be alright!
Right....and he's the one who has been dead 30 years while she continues to breathe
