I am so pissed off. I am so PISSED OFF! It's been years since I had a good sleep. My goddamn garbage man neighbor gets up at 4 am and lets his howling dogs out right next to my bed. Then he slams the door 20 times and revs his truck with no muffler for an hour. Years of this. I hate him, I hate his fat wife, I hate his screaming harpy children and I hate his hapless hounds. I friggin' HATE THEM. Oh, there's more. I'm changing TV's, so the big one is still there and next to it is the huge one. I can't move either one of them. My piece of shit closet fell in so all my clothes and blankets are stacked all over the room. My vacuum cleaner broke and it looks like I'm living in an episode of Hoarders. I hate asking anyone for help. I'm used to doing everything myself and now, well, it sucks, but, I had to ask my cousin to help. He said he'd be glad to, but, the old ladies have him running in circles and he'd be over as soon as he got time. That was a week ago. Can't these old cunts give him a break for one day? They had him running them all over town the other day AFTER I already took them all over town. They're just fucking nuts. I'm so frustrated, I feel like I'm living in hell. And I'm so pissed off from lack of sleep, I could kill someone right now. Pissed, pissed pissed..PISSED!

when your norton runs out, seriously consider vipre, it's only $30 and it's what i use....they also fucking ROCK....when i had a serious virus problem at the beginning of march, i filed a support ticket with them; they emailed a couple suggestions for me to try and they didn't work and they then set up a remote session with me, where basically you d/l a program and they can look at everything in your computer....
since no one, not even my computer programmer friend could find the virus, i figured why not let 'em; this guy at vipre during the first remote session spent 5 hours going through things...the next day he spent 3 hours and finally resolved the issue....
that obviously was a lot of time; BUT, he found the problem and resolved all at my yearly license cost....i know a lot of anti-virus software places charge extra for such remote sessions, but not vipre! and they will work with you til your problem is fixed!

I'm sorry you are enduring so much crap at the moment. Can you refuse to take the old ladies around until they release your cousin to you for a little while? I know the usual laws of dealing with humans don't apply with them. Maybe we can all come up with a plan...
I've had little success with Norton's or Macaffee and now it's the first thing I purge from my computer when I've had to restore it from disc. I used AVG's free version for a long time and liked it so much I bought their software and then had so many problems I had to restore my computer. I use Avast now. Free version. It's working well and by that I mean it runs in the background, does what I want it to do when I want to do it, doesn't block what I need and doesn't require a commitment from me. In my experience the versions I pay for fuck me up.
i've good things about avast....i have never heard good things about norton or mcafee though....they usually cause more problems than they solve....
you should somehow smuggle your cousin in your house....have him tell your motherthing he has a job somewhere he has to take then you somehow smuggle him in your house....
Free Avast works fine. Also Comodo Firewall with Defense+ enabled if you don't mind lots of pop-ups asking you to block or approve stuff. I haven't paid for computer security software in years and I never have problems. Of course the #1 way to avoid viruses and malware is DON'T USE INTERNET EXPLORER! Any internet security expert will tell you the same thing. Internet Explorer is so full of security holes it's a joke. Chrome or Firefox with Java disabled by default is best (it's a pain having to enable Java on a page-by-page basis but this is still better than the annoyance of malware). At this point Chrome and Firefox render pages better than IE anyway. Look at my site in Chrome or FF - nice rounded corners and snappy-looking drop shadow on the posts. On IE? No rounded corners or snappy-looking drop shadow.

I lived next door to a family of boys who played basketball every single day of the summer and who's dogs barked the entire time they were bouncing that damn ball. The effing b-ball-court was right outside my bedroom window and I worked nights so nearly lost my mind that summer.

I run avast and have had no problems, I had to get rid of AVG cause it was making my computer lag big time. Also, someone recommended *NOT* surfing the web on the admin account. Create a guest account and use that to do the surfing....because the guest acct. has limited access to the system. so that's what I'm doing, I surf the web on the guest account and have my main one password protected.

hey Pat, sorry you are feeling shitty today. If it makes you feel better I had a root canal AND tooth extraction today, one tooth next to the other. my mouth is fucked& 2 co-codomols haven't yet got rid of the pain. :D

Mom's doing great, She just got back from Mexico. She speaks of you often, and how she used to have more Saturday's free (because her business was slower) to come and see you. I expect any day now she'll just put a big "X" through her schedule and come see you anyway.
I'm still working in Corning, so it wouldn't be much out of my way to go home via your town if you change your mind.
My sleep situation is nothing as bad a yours, but when we have a house full of teenagers, I use white noise and earplugs to keep my sanity!

OMG, my cousin finally moved the TV and he said he was grouchy because the SOB next door wakes him up too. And we both yelled "at 4 AM every fucking morning" at the same time.
And I've tried white noise and ear plugs..every nite. Nothing silences this guy and his hounds from HEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLL.

DD, our neighbor's min-pin was one of the deciding factors why we sold our house and moved into an RV. Like you, I spent years living next to one rude neighbor or another. I wish I had an answer other than ear plugs, a loud fan, or moving away. I even considered kidnapping a dog before but those dumb fucks would have just bought another. I wish I had just ONE suggestion that was better than arson... which is all I can think of right now. :(
