Thank you, Barb!

Barb sent Lissa a Kodak camera and she LOVES it. She's learning to use the 'real' film sparingly. She picks her subject matter thoughtfully. Yesterday, she took pictures of her brother and the dog sharing a hot dog. Thank you for thinking of her.

Well, she just lost the camera for a day. She thought she could wear shorts to school when it's 40 degrees. No. That's it. Period. I'm in charge. End of story. (How's that therapy workin' for ya?) Pfft.

You're welcome! There's more coming. For some reason Amazon shipped the camera separately. It'll make more sense when the rest arrives.

I bet she's figuring out who's the boss around there real quickly! : )

There's more??? Thank you in advance then. I didn't expect this, but, you guys are sooooooo sweet.

Yeah. I'm the boss. She threw a real hissy at therapy yesterday with her mom. As soon as I hit the door. They are working on disipline. Jesus christ. I said, stop the baby fits or grandma will send you to bed early for a week and no sugar. She stopped. Enough pussy foot therapy crap. Knock it off or you'll be sorry.

LMAO. Good for you! That's all it takes to get kids in line, just being no nonsense and consistent. I wish more people raised kids that way. We're SUPPOSED to be the boss of our kids.

Haven't seen a Normal no fuss camera for ages it seems. Good idea keeping lis intuned with things of the past. i still have an old polaroid camera from 1970-1977.Film is impossible to even snag.

Fawn.

I see some red in that head :)

I want to fix her red hair, but, I'm not sure how. Anyone know?

If she used bleach to lighten it to blond, then there is nothing short of dye to take it back to red. You'll have to wait it out. Is the regrowth line prominent?

Dirty Disher said...

Yep.

Jesus, that's a lot of bleach to put on that little head. Her hair looks healthy though, which is surprising, given how harsh those home highlighters are. If you decided to dye it a strawberry blond, I'd be careful, because that bleached hair will take on color quickly.

Thanks. It's only on the top layer so I might try it. I'll do a test strip first. She wants her red hair back too. That brassy blond just pisses me off. Why would you do that to a child?? Poor judgement.

That a mother wants to bleach her little girl's hair is more than poor judgment, I fear. I know it's been said repeatedly here, but having you as a grandma is going to really help Lissa believe that she is good enough, pretty enough, smart enough, etc. Her mother can't be trusted to instill that in her at this point, I don't think.
