HERE to see if my favorite was on there. It wasn't. It seems to be about guys lying to women. But, my favorite liar spot is 'honestly.' Most of the time when people say 'honestly', they aren't honest. Kelly Bensimon is always saying it in every conversation. Even when she's caught on tape proving she's lying. Honestly. Dead give away, when they use that all the time. What are your liar spots?

usually liar spots aren't phrases---to me anyway---it's when stories change again and again....some people should have a story board hung up that they can refer to and memorize so they can keep their stories straight.....or better yet, just don't lie.....
but without lying what would politicians say? HAH!

"Honestly" is a good tell. Agree with Tia. Some people need to make a time line of their 'stories' and stick to it. They can never remember the lies. Maybe that's because nothing coming out of their mouths is true.
Love the saying my cousin & her SO have for calling out a lie. "Liar cheater face". It's funny hearing two highly educated, professional adults saying that!

Anyone who says "to be honest" or "to tell the truth" also my main indicator is if someone makes eye contact or not. Do you know, most people when lying will look down?
Agree. Looking down, sideways, off in the distance. Anywhere but at your face. That's when I start saying ... umhum, umhum, umhum, thinking ... you are so full of shit.
