Ridiculous people and a pony
HERE is the story. Idiots bought a pony for their kids and lived in town. Yeah. So they put him in a windowless shed and fed him potato peelings. The poor pony, Diddy, has been taken and re-homed. If you go there and look, you'll see a bucket of water and straw bedding. A lot of city type people have no idea that straw is not food. You'd be surprised how many people don't understand the difference between hay and straw. I'm not sure if they're cruel (as the headline calls them)or just ignorant. Anyway, it was a terrible life for a sweet pony and now he's rescued. You'd think this is an isolated weird thing, but, it's not. This is exactly how we got our first pony. He was bought as a novelty for children and abandoned. When I found him, he had no water unless it rained and he was eating tree bark to survive. He was badly foundered and half crippled from it. I had to learn about hoof care. He was quickly dubbed 'Pony' and became a favorite pet of my daughter. When I moved, I took him with me. Keep your eyes open, seriously, you'd be surprised what you see and hear where you least expect it.

Poor baby. *sigh* People are disgusting. I'm guessing they aren't cruel, just of incredibly low intelligence.
But that looks like a dump. Precious baby. Good, he is gone now! I see this alot on NatGeo, the animal rescue police. Alot of times, it's horses, starving and basically abandoned. Bones sticking out, no water, no food. Just left in a junkyard or empty lot to fend for themselves. Then they contact the owners and they promise to make good and take better care of the animals, BS! In the end they usually have to remove the poor animals and take them to a rescue to get healthy. It's f'g sad. I really hate people.

This is why I have to take breaks here and there as an animal rescue volunteer. My guts and spirit can't take it after a while and I start to really hate the human race, which is not a good thing. I equate ignorance such as this AS cruelty.... sigh.
I hate reading things like this. Animals and children are so helpless. It hearts my heart.
