The Queen and her Corgis

The Queen has lost a favorite as Monty passed away. If you want to read something really amusing check THIS article about Her Majesty and her dogs. I got a kick out of it and from what I've read before, I'd say it's all true. She's quite the dog fancier and the pets live like spoiled royalty..which they are. I liked the end quote the best. As Brian Hoey puts it: ‘The Queen will be very, very, sad. But other members of the Royal Household will probably be able to contain their grief.’ Ya think?

Monty was previously her mother's corgi so i'm sure his passing will be especially poignant to her....

they say, always incorrectly, she's cried in public only once....she had tear at aberfan, at the two minute silence on VE day after her mother passed and she took her place she had tears streaming down her face, she's blinked back tears at memorial services......i guess it's just better to a story to say she's only cried once in a public and over a yacht?
