Jeez Louise! Government is completely stupid everywhere. And that mess cost $60 grand. Considering gradient requirements, wouldn't it have been easier and much cheaper to dig a straight line to the house, throw up attractive retaining walls and put in a simple lift to the front step? WTF were these people thinking? It's almost like they wanted to fuck with her for having the audacity to bother them with her problems.

Isn't it crazy? It makes me mad, even though I don't live there. But, government here does the same shit. All they do is waste money. And we wonder why we have such a national debt. It's because the fuckers in charge are stupid and crazy.
yeah it would have been cheaper to move them....i understand they can't have a straight to the sidewalk slope as that would be dangerous---that's why they those turns, but THAT many?! you'd be exhausted by the time you got to the sidewalk!!
Way to draw attn to that little girl city council--don't let her be a "normal" girl (I know she is normal, but I mean blend in, not stand out due to her physical disability--kids just want to fit in at that age) because she's got a lawn full of metal ramps on her lawn.
I can just see some f8ckwit saying, "Oh, you want a ramp, we'll give you a flipping ramp, you cow." Just because the mom receives assistance for her family doesn't mean she and her daughters don't deserve the same respect as others. They've hardly protected this little girl's dignity with that atrocity.
The house is not a DisneyWorld attraction. That's all I could think of when I saw that photo. Idiots!
