The Citycorp Tower. But, the architect and the city structural engineer both made a mistake. A terrible mistake that would have wiped out the skyscraper and possibly have a domino effect reaching all the way to central park!
THIS was the most interesting architectural article I've read in ages. The video on there is also good. I swear, WTF is wrong with these people? From the getgo when they destroyed that beautiful Gothic church, this whole block was doomed. I'll bet it still is. You just can't fuck that many things up and make it right.

Totally frustrating that this was allowed to happen. How could this happen? It seems like there are so many historical societies around. I just don't get it. That old church should have been labeled as a historic site and been preserved. I just don't get it. Money had to have changed hands big time, and then a shoddy job was done. Citibank sucks.
