Well, well. Just when I thought PETA couldn't do anything crazier or more distasteful than the things they've already come up with, they fool me. They want to turn that psycho cannibal serial killer's first home, where he gruesomely killed his first vicim and scattered the remains all over the yard, into a restaurant that only serves vegan dishes. Oh, the irony..I guess. Here's the real rub, for me, this statement, “Dahmer’s old house gives us a way to evoke sympathy for these victims and to suggest that a life-affirming diet can change everything.” Umm, yeah, buddy. But, it's a skewed view. If Dahmer had been a vegan, he wouldn't have eaten people, but, he still would have raped, tortured and murdered them. Given the choice between his options, I'd just as soon be eaten when I'm dead. I can not imagine this place is going to have good Karma floating around. And this latest publicity stunt, which is what it really is, is not going to be bearable for the families of some of the vicitms, who are still left wondering what horrors Dalmer inflicted on their loved ones. I can not imaging their horror at hearing them compared to chickens. Or, even sadder and more insulting, an egg.
Also, this is just a heads up for PETA...if animals are being bound and tortured while people are butchering them, then someone is doing it wrong. Perhaps your efforts would be better served in stopping the perps of such atrocities, who are clearly sick. But, that would require work, wouldn't it? It's much easier to claim that it's the norm, rather than seek out the perverts. Or, simply make the cruelty videos yourself, which we all know you do. Even the mentally challenged Kardashians aren't buying what you're selling anymore. Vegetarians and vegans everywhere should protest your practices, least the ignorant think they're all like you.

I read the house was for sale but not about PETA wanting it. Thats sick and bizarre. I couldn't even walk onto the property much less EAT in there. Thats the house where his dad picked up a box in Jeffreys room and moved it to sit down. Later, said box was found to contain his victims head. Yea, real appetizing. Crazy bastards. Can you imagine the menu? Its a nice house, but has had 5 owners in almost as many years. Something is wrong there. PETA is just seeing $$$$$$$ signs. Vegan serial killers welcome. Bad Ju-Ju up in there!Jeez. Just tear it down. Bulldoze the place. Leave it alone. It's ruined forever. Cut your losses and GTFO.
PETA is deplorable and for those of us who honor, support and champion animals, we want nothing to do with PETA. Best Friends Animal Society in Kanaub, UTAH is the way to go for supporting a group that truly cares for and about animals.
I agree with Cut: you could smudge all day, every day for a year and I think that house would still be full of negative energy and bad feelings. You couldn't pay me to step foot inside it.
Now, could you imagine eating in this place, really? I bet if you interviewed the clients, you would find they were thrill seekers or perverts of some sort. I'd like to know who suggested this fiasco. PETA seem to be full of really "special" people. With IQ's equal to a cabbage.
