QVC Queen Lisa Robertson, stalked and afraid

Here is the article. Y'all know I love the home shopping networks, even though I've never ordered one thing off them, because they are better than a sleeping pill and sometimes funny. Everybody (who watches those channels) and their dog knows who Lisa Robertson is and I figured she's probably had her share of loonies following her, but, now I find out she had serious stalkers. There are court cases, restraining orders and years of real fear of being alone in her own home. I think all of us woman can relate, in some way. I can.

These are some serious charges in the Lia Robertson cases and one loony claimed to get so close he could 'smell the popcorn she was eating' at the time. That freaks me out, I can only imagine how Lisa felt. I am not a huge Lisa fan, I find her vids on home decorating particularly pretentious and annoying, but, I also know that she's single, lives alone in a beautiful home that she bought with her QVC money. She seems to like being single and living alone and I can relate to that too.

Here's what pissed me off... Chester County Times, (Lisa lives in W. Chester) editor, Kathy Brady Shea was allowed to get away with saying that Lisa and QVC are partially responsible for the lunatic's behavior because Lisa is 'heavily made up, comes across as 'provacative', has a 'come hither attitude' on air, and her show is on late at night.' Jesus. She is also accused of being 'perky, well coiffed and manicured' and these things 'draw unsavory characters'. Are you kidding me???

I am so pissed right now I could spit fire. A woman should feel safe in her own home no matter how much make-up she wears or how fucking 'perky' she is. Fuck restraining orders too. If you have evidence of stalking and threatening (and they did) then arrest the mother fucker and lock him up. Repeat stalking offenders should get an automatic life sentence. Gawd, this shit makes me so mad. If the bastard can 'smell your popcorn'  and he brags about it, his first offence should get him life without parole. Too many women live in fear and die because police tell them to 'get a restraining order'. Fuck this nonsense.What are we supposed to do when the lunatics show up to rape and kill us? Wave a piece of legal paper in their face? Yeah, that will stop them. Then he gets off in court because we wore too much make-up and were 'perky and well manicured'. That editor should have lost her job over those comments.

HERE is another one! This woman was stalked for five years and she reported him to the police 125 times!!! They did nothing. He finally got her, drug her into a cemetary and tried to kill her by repetedly stabbing her. Police totally failed at protecting her because of the laws. This was a UK case, but, it just tells me the laws protecting women are fucked up everywhere. Buy a gun, learn to use it. What else can you do?
