The spoilers say that in it's fourth season, Daenareys Targaryen is betrayed and warned by her guard that 'Dragon's can never be tamed, not even by their mother.' Oh, snap. Is it one of her Dragons that betrays her? That can't be right. That will freak me out. Man, look how big those baby Dragons are now! Holy shit.
Does anyone else watch this show? I only started watching it recently because I heard Natalie Dormer was in it. I loved her in The Tudors. Well, now I'm hooked on Thrones. I confess to loving well done fantasy shows anyhow. It's sort of dorky, but, I still watch Xena, Warrior Princess sometimes. So, this is kind of up my alley.
Natalie Dormer for a new GQ shoot. You gotta love the hair...on her. She can pull it off. Besides, men aren't looking at the hair. She's lovely, but, she'll always be Anne Bolelyn to me. She's really kick ass in Thrones though, where she plays the same kind of devious, social climbing character. Oh, and I love me some of that horrid little boy King, Joffery. That snotty kid is so dispicabley awesome it blows my mind.
HERE is a long clip that might get you interested in Thrones if you've never watched it. Here, we are sure that permanently adolescent King Joffry is going to kill Natalie's character with a crossbow for being, umm, not virginal, but, I'll be dammed if she doesn't do some quick thinking. It's all pretty brilliant.

Gawd. How am I NOT watching this beautiful show? I had free HBO all weekend too. I think that's why. I don't want to get involved then be shut off, cold turkey.
My son is very into this show, and I have occasionally watched it with him. I don't watch it very often because the way women are treated really bothers me. I did watch the episode last night with the dragon turning on her momentarily. The one you have the link or pictures of above. That one freaked me out a little. I had the same immediate reaction she did. Dammit! Now I am being sucked in because I am worried about her.

It's our favorite show! I'm so glad you're watching! I've read all of the books, still waiting on George to finish the last one. Have the official cook book and last year's HBO behind the scenes book. Such a nerd. It's a really good story!
Pan, I've seen every episode of every season of the British Shameless. I saw one episode of the American version and it was almost word for word script wise, so I'm good. Maybe I'm biased but I love the BBC.

Casey, so why didn't you tell me? BTW, Aunt Bitch face is in the hospital and so I've been driving Tuwella all day. Her diagnosis for her sister is stress because of them damn boys. She's a doctor now. Yeah. It couldn't be, you know, being a HUNDRED. I think she's okay for tonight anyhow.

That's how I got the whole set at once. Otherwise, I would've just got one at a time. I don't usually read fantasy. This was really good to me.

You are absolutely right. Some of those scenes were brutal, even though I had read the books and knew it was coming, I still had to look away at times. And I've never fully matured to where I can watch a sex scene and not be embarrassed. They don't need all that, IMO, but, it's HBO.
