Jail time for Tree and Juicy Joe

The Giudices were sentenced in their fraud case and Joe has to do 41 months. I expected that, but, what shocked me was, the judge gave Teresa 15 months. This is to be served in federal prison, so she will most likely serve most of the sentence. I really thought she'd walk with probation, but, the reason the judge was so harsh is, she was not forthcoming with some information and she didn't pay the $200 grand she was ordered to pay upfront as part of the deal. That blew my mind. I really like her, but, how can you be shown paying over a $100 grand for furniture on a reality show..in cash. In cash! And not pay the court what they ordered? It's not like she couldn't get her hands on the money. You and I both know she could have. WTF is with that??

I know she's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but, Joe should have told her to take the judge seriously. Or her lawyers should have told her. It's like she gave the judge the finger. The judge did take their four children into account. The sentences will be staggered so that one of them will remain at home with the kids while the other does time. I don't think people like you or me would have had that option. That judge is well aware of how public this case is.  HERE are more details, if you're interested. I don't give a shit what public opinion is, the only people they cheated were banks and the government, so I just don't give a crap about their 'crime'. Joe knows what time it is, but, Teresa is a ding bat. I think the sentence was harsh for her, but, she should have shown more respect. She wasn't dealing with Andy Cohen this time. I'm sure she'll be fine in the pen, she always adapts, but, that year she won't spend with her children will be pretty damn tough and I feel for her.
