OMG, THIS song is the funnest fucking thing. Gone Daddy Gone! I can not stop playing it, though there have been a few requests for me to stop. I figure not everyone is blessed with the fine taste I have in music. Therefore it is my civic duty to familiarize them with the good stuff. Right? Plug me in, baby. That's a lead I can do! YAAAA!
I love it, and I learned THIS one too. Kiss Off, also by the Violent Femmes. Kiss Off is pure punk brilliance and it has two parts, so, Lissa gets into being my backup singer. Usually, I have to be the backup and that's really only fun if I get to be a Pip. (Or one of the Bangles.) But, nooo, she always makes me do the Gladys Knight part, when she knows my life long dream is to be a female Pip. (Climb aboard, climb aboard, oh ohhh, one love, climb aboard, ect) But, that's another story. Sigh. Anyway, these are so much fun and so easy to play. Kiss off has difficult lyrics to learn, but, they crack me up and you can just go koo koo for coco puffs on it. It's hilarious. And yes, I DO do lead on this too. ~Laughin'~
