Art Tatum's Tea for Two (1933)

I have recently discovered Art Tatum, he blows me a away and is really fun to do housework to. I hope you like him as much as I do.

Boy, you're really pulling them out of the woodworks now. (Catch the pun?) I like the old upbeat piano players like the ones from the 20's to the 40's. But pretty much, I like most music except some of the rap shit. I hate to sound stodgy but that is how I feel about some of it.

My emotional self needs upbeat music to survive.

I've never heard of him. Those are some nimble fingers he has! I love piano and might try to get an old free one off CL - I was looking today and there at least 8 available for the price of having the movers take it away. Some of them are at least as old as the one Art's playing here (I'm guessing)
Now I'm gonna look for some more of his stuff

Ha ha Jane! I like rap, hip hop..but, it took me awhile. You have to find someone who gets to you with their lyrics and then you're hooked. Try some Em. He's the master, I don't give a shit how white he is.

6:46:00 PM, I'd never heard of him either, I was listening to Nina Simone and he was linked. I love to follow links. I find such gems.
