THE FACES WITH KEITH RICHARDS - ID RATHER GO BLIND 1974
Hey, look what I found! This is fantastic. When I was a kid, I didn't know about Etta James. I sure do now. And the ONLY person who does it as well as Etta is not fucking Beyoncé or any of those whores, it's Rod Stewart. And the other person in the group, I wanted you to guess by that old photo, was, of course, Ronnie Woods. The Faces were fucking tight and bad assed. I wasn't such a dumb kid, after all. Well, at least not about music. I was 13 when I bought the first Faces album, but, I confess, I had Rod's yellow satin outfit at some time during the early 70's. Shirl shopplifted it for me. My hair was long, but, I had it cap cut feathered on top like his. I paid for that shit! I thought I looked hot. (I'm sure I looked like a skrawny ass-clown.) What a fucking fashion idiot. (I blame that on her too.) Thankfully, there are no pictures of that mess.
Whoa..Rod had a nice ass for a skinny dude. Check that out! (Right after his nip slip about 2 min in.) More..ohhhh, I just watched it again! Keep watching after that ass shot, he does some microphone ballet gymnastic thing. Holy shit, Rod.

Love me some Rod Stewart. And his hair. I actually want my hair on top feathered like that. Can't seem to get it, tho.
Border, when I first fell for The Small Faces, all I had visually was the album cover. Remember back then there was no such thing as the net or videos. They never played on the radio, that I remember, and they were not a group featured on Ed Sullivan. If they were on tv, I wouldn't have seen them. I was not allowed to touch the tv back then. But, they were not mainstream anyhow. They were in the musical underground. So, seeing them preform on stage is all new to me. I am loving it so much. Of course, since then, I've seen Rod. But, this is the first time I have actually seen The Faces. It's boggling my wee mind and I am watching entire concerts of them, over and over. They really were intensely good!!
Ps..the secret to the hair was Aqua-Net. Tons of Aqua-Net. LMAO!
