It makes no sense. Oh, wait, I get it. They don't want you making everyone look like hillbillies. Junk everywhere is okay, burning piles to the edge of the street, okay, tall grass okay, derelict vehicles etc. okay, but having chickens around just brings the whole neighborhood down. There go the property values. Seriously. I think it is a case of someone with too much time on their hands, and an internet and phone connection. I am also thinking IQ in the double digits. Maybe less. Christina
By the way, this is totally off-topic, but, against my better judgment, I watched the Republican Presidential Debate. It was way more interesting than I thought it would be. I came away from it really liking Karlie (?) Fiorina. I disliked her so much before, but she is the only one up there that truly looked presidential, and had actual ideas of what to do, and how she would handle things. She is one tough cookie. I am surprised. I don't know if a Republican is the way to go. I didn't think so, and am still not sure, but I got a little fired up, listening to her. The Donald was all bluster and self-aggrandizement. "Everybody loves me, I am so great, I make so much money", etc. Dr. Ben Carson seems like a really good guy, but so very soft spoken, and maybe not hard enough to withstand all the "slings and arrows" involved in this job. Anyway. . . Christina
I love the pictures. I love Christina's idea of keeping code enfacement on speed dial just to keep everybody busy.
Hey Christina, I watch republican debates In my state, with the winner take all, the only thing that matters is the primaries. And I registered republican. So my vote in the primaries makes a difference but won't in the generals. We do not have one statewide republican in office. Not even one. Plurality of thought? Forget about it. All I want is government off my back. That's it.
In a small town, you're not allowed to have chickens. WTF!? There's house around here with chickens, I heard them in the back of my dads house, and one house the way to work. There even a house in my dads neighborhood where the owns keeps bees, we have even bought their honey before (delicious might I add), but you having chickens is bad? We've got a house around here that run down like that. But maybe because we're a middle sized town there is other things for everybody to get their panties in the bunch about besides chickens?
The smaller the town, the more rules and regulations they have. Small people with illusions of grandeur. Can you ask for a variance? Considering your new property is along the border of town, perhaps they would consider it?
I found a good person who wants the chickens, I'm okay with that. I'm trying to get some more time with Tooney. I'm waiting for a call back. But, if they want him, they'll have to catch him. LOL, good luck on that. I'm his mama and it takes ME forever to get him down out of trees. The game warden is gone now, so they're letting the dog catcher deal. He's afraid of dogs. LOL. He's shit himself before handling a Coon. Basically, they want ME to turn him over. Naa, it aint happening. I'll fully release him when he's ready though.
Someone has got it out for you. You can't have chickens in a rural town in Iowa? But those stinking pig farms are ok? Your yard looks cute and I know that you work at it to keep it that way. Did you find out what's up with the lack of H2O?

Got up this morning, no water. WTF you think this is about?

I am a block from the stock yard. Go figure that out.
Isn't that shipping container the home of the wild (bob?) cats? That can't be moved. Where would they live?
Do you think troll stirred all this up? I was taught that if you can't say something nice, keep your mouth shut.
