I am totally grossed out. She has talent, but I just get this mental image of her sticking her finger in there and wiping it on the canvas. Ack. He is an asshole. Unfortunately he is a rich asshole who can afford to do whatever he wants, and pay whatever it will cost for him to run with the big dogs, politically. Migrant/immigrant issues are something that I want someone to work on, but why does he have to be the only one who seriously steps up to the plate on that? Why can't the other guys man up? He could be very dangerous, if elected. I think his finger would inch over to "the button" on a regular basis. Some of his comments are so classless, I don't know how his followers stomach them. I have often told my son that our family is intelligent, and it is hard to be intelligent in this world. The world is full of people who are just incapable of understanding issues, and so they follow whomever seems to be charismatic, whether they are all bluster or have any depth to their character or not. The fact that he is brash, and in-your-face, and continuously aggrandizing make him irresistible to people who don't have very high IQ's. Is it horrible of me to say that? I think I can live with it, if it is. Christina
I believe the biggest thing he has going for him is that he is not a politician. And he is not afraid to speak his mind. He seems to fear no one. And that could be a big problem. But he is a negotiator and is able to work through problems. I think people are so tired of lying, cheating politicians that they are willing to try anything. Do I think he is above lying? Hell no. I'm know he can lye with the best of them. There are a few who I think would do a good job but will never get a chance because now running for office is all about money.
I agree, Jane. He is one big liar. Was it you who, somewhere in the past few months, mentioned a resort, condo development in Mexico? Whomever mentioned it, mentioned that Trump and Ivanka, I think, took in a lot of money from people who wanted condos, and then dumped the project, and kept the money. Since it is in Mexico, it would not be prosecutable here. I may not be remembering right, though. I don't remember it exactly. I would not be surprised if this was true, though. Christina
