R u kidding me? Travel channel does it best!Sometimes Discovery will have one.& of course The Food Network! I love all those shows. "Unwrapped" is the father of all this kind of shows. U can't get me away from it if it is on. I love watching HOW they make all the goodies we love. Thanks for making me think of that right before supper (my time)...
I can't get enough of a show on the science channel called, "How It's Made" they show the process of how stuff is made from start to finish, ballet slippers, RV's, chicken nuggets, stop signs, mirrors, candy corn...
Ohhhhh I've seen how they make that candy! There's a town in my home country (Banos, Ecuador) that specializes in making that kind of goodies. It's made with the pure unprocessed brown sugar cane (panela), they warm it up until it blends together in a copper wok, then when it has a stretchy caramel consistence they proceed to stretch it on the hooks......great arm workout! The final sticky product we call "melcocha", and when they let it harden, giving it different colors it's called "alfenique".

Cool! Love it, too. Watching crayons being made! Lipsticks! Chocolate! Anything waxy or textural, with color.
