Amusing. I hate that show, but, sometimes when she's on with all those damn kids I watch that part and when LongWhoria comes on I switch channels. There's something I like about Felicity Huffman and her husband, Bill Macy. Maybe it's the fact that they don't seem like idiots in the tabloids all the time, they just do thier jobs well and don't go out of their way to be raving morons.

But, I really put this cover on here because I just saw her in Transamerica and wondered if anyone else liked that movie? I rented it twice (we only got two copies in town) and there was no sound either time, so I resigned myself to waiting for it to show up on TV. The other night it actually did and I thought it was good. But, I'm weird about movies, I like quiet stories about relationships between people and movie makers who allow me to laugh when I want. Anyone else a fan of Transamerica? Just curious. HERE's a trailer if you haven't seen it. I thought she was pretty amazing in it.

My room mate is a Tranny so we've seen it & own it, LOL
I thought it was very well done. It caused quite the stir in the community. Yep, a tranny movie but so "mainstreamed" and not starring a Tranny; not even a cross-dresser.
Whatever; it puts it out there & that's what's important. Even within the GLBT community there are layers of hated & Trannies & right in the forefront.
I applaud the efforts to bring this issue forward in such a caring & well-done manner.
By the way, she nick named her faux penis "Andy".

My daughter & I liked it. It was a bit bizarre. We really wish the kid at then end hadn't ended up in porn, but he did. That bummed us out. & She didn't want him to do that either. It was hard to watch but we were glad we did. Another important movie thats difficult to watch at times is "Kiterunner". If you haven't seen it, please rent it asap. Nellyboy...ever been to Lucky Changs in NYC? A very kewl Trannylicious restaurant & club. Lapdances and a catwalk that just killed us. They know how to work it!! FUN!!! Some very hawt Trannys working the place too. & Yummy chinese food! Loved it and had a ball. uh-hum...So, to speak!
Bill Macy kills me. He's not good looking & he knows it. He keeps cranking out the movies and making Hollywood buzz, as does Felicity. They look average and it works. They seem happy too. Good for them! I like them both very much. I want some pickled pepper rings now.

I do have a house in Palm Springs which is nice but I don't get there as often as I would like.
It's all good...Drag Queens, X-Dressers, Trannys, Bears, Gym-Bunnies, Twinks, Hawks...Personally I used to be a Bear but have since changed into an Otter who aspires to be a Silver Fox as opposed to a Polar Bear.

I loved every second of that movie, and I thought she should have gotten the Academy Award for her performance!
