You'd think the stars could hardly keep anything from the public, but, Kelly Preston Travolta may just have a doozy of a secret. Did she have another disabled son, besides young Jett? I went searching after a poster here peaked my interest. Kelly Preston was married before John Travolta, her ex-husbands name is Kevin Gage. They were married in 1987 and divorced in 1989. By accounts of what I've been able to read on the net, Kelly and Kevin had one child together. A son. That part is true. But, net gossip says that Kelly's first son was also mentally disabled and she gave him up, either to her parents (her mother is a mental health administrator) or her ex, and had him erased from her biography. I had never heard of Kelly having another child until now. Preston has been a member of Scientology since hooking up with Travolta in '91.*
If you go to her "official" biography, there is no mention of another child. Just Ella Blue Travolta and Jett Travolta. It's like something out of the Twilight Zone. There seems to be many skeletons in Ms. Preston's closet. She was engaged to Charlie Sheen once, and was living with him, but, that engagement broke up after Charlie accidentally shot her in the arm. I'm just scratching my head. Can Scientology "erase" a child because he's damaged? Why would you let them? What's the real story here?

Regarding your title, NO I do not think they can keep really dark secrets. Eventually it will come out, maybe sooner than later in some cases.
If this is true, which I am betting it is, how ridiculous. You should love your child regardless of what kind of physical or mental handicap they may have. This scientology crap is scary!!!
arthur miller kept a child in an institution and the secret didn't come out until after his death....
jacquelline sussann had a son in an institute and never really addressed where he was...
it used to be common for celebs to hide pregnancies and then come back from a long trip with an 'adopted' baby...or if a child was sick/handicapped they'd have them institutionalized and say there were at 'school'....same way with 'lavendar marriages' (marriages between a gay man/woman to hide their homosexuality)....
these things have become more difficult to pull off now, but it's not impossible....

I think there is so much more to this than meets the eye. First off, these two barely ever brought their son out in public because it would somehow tarnish their perfect Americana personas and go against the scientology principle of fighting off legitimate medical conditions with happy thoughts and a bike ride. Those people are uneducated, dilussional, and should be ashamed. I had some more points, but now I'm too aggrivated to even talk about them. but I would not doubt that what you say is true.

No one has any right to judge her and bringing up dirt or mistakes from the past is just bad karma.
Hopefully losing Jet will make this family rethink medicine and religon. The two do not mix well.
They will never leave their church. No way. Didn't Diana Highland get John into it (Scientology) before she died back in 1975/1976? She was about 41 & he was still making Saturday Night fever? He was probably 21 or around that. They were very much in love and then she got sick & died of cancer quickly. You think he'd get that no religion can keep you from getting sick & dying. They believe they have all had previous lives & will have more lives in the future. So death to them is just a little skip in the road. It's very strange. Dead is dead, as dirt, to me. No more, no less. But to each their own.
The story of Kelly's "other disabled child" has been whispered about ever since Jett's disability became obvious.
Also, it's come to light that although John apparently always treated his boy with concern and kindness, Kelly (said to be more of a Ron-bot than John) was not nearly so 'feeling.'
Before Jett's death, former neighbors of the Travolta's (last name: "Kenny") had claimed that Jett was permitted to sit in front of video games all day eating junk food. (hence his obesity) They also claimed the Travolta's excluded Jett from social events because they were "embarrassed" and that, not surprisingly, he never spoke-- he had developed no communicative skills "whatsoever."
It is true that Jett was missing from family outings for years... and surfaced only rarely and even then, briefly. Seems his banishment from the outside world came after Jett had "a major meltdown" when Kelly had accompanied the kids (along with several nannies) to the movies.
Did they leave? Nope. Sources present said Kelly simply told the nannies to 'take care of it'.
Since the Travolta's are extremely unlikely to be forthcoming about the circumstances of their son's death-- and even moreso, the truth re: his brief life, speculation can only escalate. Imo, they'd be better off not sugar-coating the facts.
I know the previous girlfriend did get John into Scino-life before she died. He has never been as out there as Tommy has about his personal life in any respect, and I always knew he was in it. When we protested the sinos coming into Clearwater Travolta was told not to come because, this is our theory at the time, the big wigs didn't want him seeing the protestors or having us possibly yell something at him that he had to acknowledge. This was over 20 years ago. But apparently he not only stuck with them, but brought Kelly and his kids into the con. Good Grief! Why don't they just call it a hugely funded, very expensive, mind numbing self-help group instead of a religion? They could get away with that. I don't begrudge any adult throwing away his or her hard-earned money on self-help, but don't claim tax exempt status as a religion. Come on!

We don't like it when people pimp their kids out, especially when it is to make themselves rich (Gosselin assholes), but even when people like Jenny are supposedly trying to educate the public on her child's disability. We don't like them dragging Suri out every friggin' day for a photo op when she so clearly hates the spotlight and we don't want someone to hide their kid away as if something were wrong with them.
I don't know the answer. I do know that most of the above celebs have made their own livings, have their own jobs, their own lives and don't use their kids as circus acts to keep themselves from working (like the fuckin' G's). I'm so sick of them.
Jett looks like he was a very nice boy and thank God he was born into a family that loved and cherished him while he was here.

This whole article is bogus. Kelly never had any children before jett. This is an internet rumor with no facts to back it up. I was a fan of hers during that time. She was a busy actress then. You never saw any photos of her pregnant either. Doesn't that strike you as odd.
She was married to Kevin from 1986 - 1988,she then dated George clooney for a year.Then she dated Charlie Sheen til 1991.
Kelly has enough to deal with losing her son Jett. There is no need for this crap. She's sweetheart and doesn't deserve this. Anyone who has ever met or worked with her says the same thing. That Kelly is sweet lady and very down to earth.
