Todays, wtf???

INDIANAPOLIS – An 18-year-old is in police custody after he warmed up a bottle for a crying baby inside the house he was allegedly robbing. Indianapolis police arrested the suspect at Arlington High School on Tuesday after receiving a tip from a television viewer saw surveillance video on a newscast.
Detectives said two suspects forced their way into a home on Friday morning and began ransacking the house. Police said that when a baby started crying, one of them warmed a bottle in a microwave oven and gave it to a child to feed the baby.
The suspect was being held on charges of burglary, robbery, criminal confinement and pointing a firearm.

LMAOOOOO! Seriously, I am picturing this teenage robber trying to take care of a crying baby, another kid is wondering around and he's got the microwave going..and no one wakes up? Fuck. The parents should pay him for babysitting. He's probably glad he's in jail after that mess.

Where the hell were the parents, did they leave a baby alone?

It didn't say, so I assume they were asleep. I thought it was pretty funny.

Wow. Well, on the bright side, if I were on that jury I'd be inclined to let them off with a stern warning. Obviously these are not hardened criminals.

The bonus to this life of crime he/she started is that they didnt hurt the kids. How many times do he hear of someone getting hurt or killed in the process of a home invasion/robbery. Somewhere that kid has a conscience. Hopefully this will be the end of their "life of crime".

As for the parents...wow. I wake up when my kids cough in the night, every little sound that inst normal, if a car goes down the street after 1am, and I cant imagine not waking up with the sounds of my house being ransacked.

On a bright note, the trains no longer wake me up. :)

If a robber has that much compassion to stop stealing and feed a crying baby, I say let the kid off.

Anyone want to bet that the guy was high on weed?. I laugh when I hear about the dangers of smoking marijuana as compared to alcohol. The only thing in danger if I rip one from a bong is the Apple Pie, the Pecan Pie, and the double fudge brownie with sprinkles I saw at the German bakery. That is all I would think about, and I'd spend an hour looking at it from the window.

I live 40 minutes north if Indy and hadn't heard this one. Arlington HS is a bad place tho. It's Ghet-to! But this kid probably has lots of little brothers & sisters and knows what to do. How many kids would even know? Maybe he has kids of his own? Kids are killed all the time to keep them from crying, and this kid did the right thing. This is no murderer. He will probably get a few years probation. Good story Pat.
