California's child protective service says Mel Gibson is a wonderful father and he has a lovely relationship with his baby daughter. Much ado about nothing, as usual. Why does everything look rose colored right now? Oh well, la la..the world is so beautiful.

I am convinced the Internet will go down if they don't let Lindsay out of jail. Luckily, she won't serve her entire sentence. Whew! How can the Internet exist with no pics of The Blow in clubs all night? What would CNN do? Sure, Paris is drunk and singing Stars Are Blind with her puss hanging out, but, that's hardly news. Hang in there, Linds!

I watched a show called Jerseylicious, but, I'm convinced it was actually a cartoon because there is no way that many people could be born with no brain and live. It's just not possible.

Chelsea Clinton's wedding will cost her parents between 3 and 5 million dollars. But, they ARE the Clinton's and they know a lot of people, so I'm sure the money is well justified. Isn't life wonderful..aren't you glad you're alive?

What I'm hoping for now is some kind of nail shortage. So those fuckers will FINALLY STOP POUNDING!
Give me a minute to go find my rose colored glasses. I know there must be a pair in a drawer somewhere. It's all sweetness, light, lollypops and roses...
and satchels of gold
I hope Crabbie's nailers stop too. What are they nailing anyway? The whole point was I don't CARE who Gabby Sidibe is, she sure as hell shouldn't be in skinny jeans...ya know what i'm sayin?
I'm so glad you posted all this good news, DD. I've been worried for nothing. I can see that now. Perhaps the Jerseylicious ppl have had lobotomies? Maybe a lobotomy IS the answer. I'll be off checking into that.
I'll have whatever she's having....
Praise Jesus for all these fucking miracles. That dude can pull anything off.
Only Kelly can say "satchels of gold"
The oil is still there, somewhere. It doesn't just go away.
Who cares about Mel Gibson? His credibility is completely destroyed. I wonder how bankable he is in Hollywood now that he has completely (I hope) aired his crazy?
I don't know anything about Jerseylicious, but I'll have an order of those satchels of gold, please!
I watched Anderson Cooper briefly last night, and he was commenting on the oil drilling that is going on in the water off the coast of Alaska. He said that BP wasn't allowed to do offshore (non-land based) drilling, so they built an island, and situated their drill operation on that. How did this happen? I thought that drilling in that area was highly contested, and was not going to happen. Oh, and another thing. . . they are drilling down, and then drilling sideways for a few miles to hit some very rich pockets of oil. They said that the only problem with this type of drilling is that they might hit some major methane pockets. Wasn't that one of the problems with Deep Horizon? Sheesh. You would think some of our elected officials could prevent things like this from happening.
Are they not capable of saying "no"?
Oh, and another thing. . . the island they built (can't remember the name) is linked by causeway to another island they previously built, with a drilling operation on it, naturally, that they have already had to pay fines for. . . for releasing oil into the environment. I think that BP needs to be dissolved, and we need to stop the flagrant abuse of the laws and the environment.
Well top that with rich sarcasm glaze and that is just what I needed.
Had to fire a good yet terrible employee today. I really don't like to have to do that unfortunately it's in the job description.
Just another excuse for a pre-shift cocktail.
I agree Christina, BP should no longer be able to function as a company, they should have been fined into bankruptcy. They've shown what they're all about. Guess they won't be happy until they've spilt oil into each ocean & destroyed all the fishermen's jobs & local flora & fauna. Islands aren't just built over night (yeah, yeah, unless they're volcanic) & someone needs to put a stop to these idiots.
Firing good but bad employees sucks. Firing bad employees doesn't suck but trying to fill their inept shoes does. My last shift, four days ago, I had a during-shift Bailey's in a mocha iced coffee...it almost did the trick, but at that point I was pulling 14 hours and anything would have sufficed. Even Sambuca which I hate. I had three no-shows (now ex-employees) and three call in sick that day.
Even though Crabbie, love of my life (not verbal irony), detests Anderson Cooper, I think he's hot. So is Anderson Cooper! I think Sam Elliott is hot too...and that voice...Oh Mah Gah!
I praise Jesus too. Anyone who can pull off those miracles whilst standing on a cracker has my vote.
DD, I likey the new intro picture by the way. I know its your garden but ... its like ... oh ...I dunno ... Ethereal looking!
Thank you. :)
It looks like an impressionist painting
(which I like)
I thought the "amber waves" were supposed to be of grain!!!
Crabbie...you had commented on the nailing a while back. What in the hell can they be building that would take that long? Do these people know about that new invention called a nail gun? Less noise and finishes the job in a lot less time!!!
Oh. My. God. Please do not get me started on any of these topics. I am just looking for a target for my unbridled anger...
TOUFUCKINGCHE!! I couldn't have summed it up better myself, Pat!
Christina, I saw that report on CNN also. Another thing is that island BP built is more than a full day away from the nearest town so if there were ever to be a problem like in the Gulf, it would be astronomically more difficult to respond and to get all the people and equipment in place. I am sick of the govt being in cahoots with this toxic thieving corp.
Ohhhh, I must be half asleep! I didn't notice the new header picture!! I love it. And your glass creation center stage. Beautiful. It's a keeper, DD.
Yes DD, the new header is gorgeous, it puts me in mind of Renoir.
This.Army.Mom, I am so glad to see you and I wondered how you are. Maybe we should both look into some kind of anger management together, yes?
lol..yes, anger management would be good. My current solution is red wine, occassionally mixed with xanax so I can at least get a little sleep.
Hang in there. If you need to talk or rant, you know how to reach me.
Well put Pat!
Can I get an "AMEN"!
~ Jess
